19:1 ¶ When (3588) the LORD {3068} thy God {430} hath cut off {3772} <8686> (853) the nations, {1471} whose (834) (853) land {776} the LORD {3068} thy God {430} giveth {5414} <8802> thee, and thou succeedest {3423} <8804> them, and dwellest {3427} <8804> in their cities, {5892} and in their houses; {1004}

19:2 Thou shalt separate {914} <8686> three {7969} cities {5892} for thee in the midst {8432} of thy land, {776} which (834) the LORD {3068} thy God {430} giveth {5414} <8802> thee to possess {3423} <8800> it.

19:3 Thou shalt prepare {3559} <8686> thee a way, {1870} and divide (8027) (853) the coasts {1366} of thy land, {776} which (834) the LORD {3068} thy God {430} giveth thee to inherit, {5157} <8686> into three parts, [8027] <8765> that every (3605) slayer {7523} <8802> may (1961) flee {5127} <8800> thither. 19:4 ¶ And this (2088) [is] the case {1697} of the slayer, {7523} <8802> which (834) shall flee {5127} <8799> thither, (8033) that he may live: {2425} <8804> Whoso (834) killeth {5221} <8686> (853) his neighbour {7453} ignorantly, [1097] [1847] (1907) (1947) whom he (1931) hated {8130} <8802> not (3808) in time [8543] (8032) past; [8032] (4480) (8657)

19:5 As when a man (834) goeth {935} <8799> into the wood {3293} with (854) his neighbour {7453} to hew {2404} <8800> wood, {6086} and his hand {3027} fetcheth a stroke {5080} <8738> with the axe {1631} to cut down {3772} <8800> the tree, {6086} and the head {1270} slippeth {5394} <8804> from (4480) the helve, {6086} and lighteth [4672] <8804> upon (4672) (853) his neighbour, {7453} that he die; {4191} <8804> he (1931) shall flee {5127} <8799> unto (413) one {259} of those (428) cities, {5892} and live: {2425} <8804>

19:6 Lest (6435) the avenger {1350} <8802> of the blood {1818} q8676- pursue {7291} <8799> (310) the slayer, {7523} [310] <8802> while {3588} his heart {3824} is hot, {3179} <8799> and overtake {5381} <8689> him, because (3588) the way {1870} is long, {7235} <8799> and slay {5221} <8689> him; {5315} whereas he [was] not (369) worthy [4941] of death, {4194} (4941) inasmuch as {3588} he (1931) hated {8130} <8802> him not (3808) in time [8543] (8032) past. 19:7 Wherefore (5921) (3651) I (595) command {6680} <8764> thee, saying, {559} <8800> Thou shalt separate {914} <8686> three {7969} cities {5892} for thee.

19:8 And if (518) the LORD {3068} thy God {430} enlarge {7337} <8686> (853) thy coast, {1366} as (834) he hath sworn {7650} <8738> unto thy fathers, {1} and give {5414} <8804> thee (853) all (3605) the land {776} which (834) he promised {1696} <8765> to give {5414} <8800> unto thy fathers; {1}

19:9 If (3588) thou shalt keep {8104} <8799> (853) all (3605) these (2063) commandments {4687} to do {6213} <8800> them, which (834) I (595) command {6680} <8764> thee this day, {3117} to love {157} <8800> (853) the LORD {3068} thy God, {430} and to walk [3212] <8800> (1980) ever {3117} (3605) in his ways; {1870} then shalt thou add {3254} <8804> three {7969} cities {5892} more (5750) for thee, beside (5921) these (428) three: {7969}

19:10 That innocent {5355} blood {1818} be not (3808) shed {8210} <8735> in {7130} thy land, {776} which (834) the LORD {3068} thy God {430} giveth {5414} <8802> thee [for] an inheritance, {5159} and [so] blood {1818} be (1961) upon (5921) thee.

19:11 ¶ But if (3588) any man {376} hate {8130} <8802> (1961) his neighbour, {7453} and lie in wait {693} <8804> for him, and rise up {6965} <8804> against (5921) him, and smite {5221} <8689> him mortally {5315} that he die, {4191} <8804> and fleeth {5127} <8804> into (413) one {259} of these {411} cities: {5892}

19:12 Then the elders {2205} of his city {5892} shall send {7971} <8804> and fetch {3947} <8804> him thence, (4480) (8033) and deliver {5414} <8804> him into the hand {3027} of the avenger {1350} <8802> of blood, {1818} that he may die. {4191} <8804>

19:13 Thine eye {5869} shall not (3808) pity {2347} <8799> (5921) him, but thou shalt put away {1197} <8765> [the guilt of] innocent {5355} blood {1818} from Israel, {3478} (4480) that it may go well {2895} <8804> with thee.

19:14 ¶ Thou shalt not (3808) remove {5253} <8686> thy neighbour's {7453} landmark, {1366} which (834) they of old time {7223} have set {1379} <8804> in thine inheritance, {5159} which (834) thou shalt inherit {5157} <8799> in the land {776} that (834) the LORD {3068} thy God {430} giveth {5414} <8802> thee to possess {3423} <8800> it.

19:15 ¶ One {259} witness {5707} shall not (3808) rise up {6965} <8799> against a man {376} for any (3605) iniquity, {5771} or for any (3605) sin, {2403} in any (3605) sin {2399} that (834) he sinneth: {2398} <8799> at (5921) the mouth {6310} of two {8147} witnesses, {5707} or (176) at (5921) the mouth {6310} of three {7969} witnesses, {5707} shall the matter {1697} be established. {6965} <8799>

19:16 ¶ If (3588) a false {2555} witness {5707} rise up {6965} <8799> against any man {376} to testify {6030} <8800> against him [that which is] wrong; {5627}

19:17 Then both {8147} the men, [582] (376) between whom (834) the controversy {7379} [is], shall stand {5975} <8804> before {6440} the LORD, {3068} before {6440} the priests {3548} and the judges, {8199} <8802> which (834) shall be (1961) in those (1992) days; {3117}

19:18 And the judges {8199} <8802> shall make diligent [3190] <8687> inquisition: {1875} <8804> (3190) and, behold, (2009) [if] the witness {5707} [be] a false {8267} witness, {5707} [and] hath testified {6030} <8804> falsely {8267} against his brother; {251}

19:19 Then shall ye do {6213} <8804> unto him, as (834) he had thought {2161} <8804> to have done {6213} <8800> unto his brother: {251} so shalt thou put [1197] <0> the evil [7451] away {1197} <8765> (7451) from among {7130} (4480) you.

19:20 And those which remain {7604} <8737> shall hear, {8085} <8799> and fear, {3372} <8799> and shall henceforth {3254} <8686> commit {6213} <8800> no (3808) more (5750) any {1697} such (2088) evil {7451} among {7130} you.

19:21 And thine eye {5869} shall not (3808) pity; {2347} <8799> [but] life {5315} [shall go] for life, {5315} eye {5869} for eye, {5869} tooth {8127} for tooth, {8127} hand {3027} for hand, {3027} foot {7272} for foot. {7272}
