23:1 ¶ Thou shalt not (3808) raise {5375} <8799> a false {7723} report: {8088} put {7896} <8799> not (408) thine hand {3027} with (5973) the wicked {7563} to be (1961) an unrighteous {2555} witness. {5707}

23:2 ¶ Thou shalt not (3808) follow {310} (1961) a multitude {7227} to [do] evil; {7451} neither (3808) shalt thou speak {6030} <8799> in (5921) a cause {7379} to decline {5186} <8800> after {310} many {7227} to wrest {5186} <8687> [judgment]:

23:3 ¶ Neither (3808) shalt thou countenance {1921} <8799> a poor [1800] man (1800) in his cause. {7379}

23:4 ¶ If (3588) thou meet {6293} <8799> thine enemy's {341} <8802> ox {7794} or (176) his ass {2543} going astray, {8582} <8802> thou shalt surely [7725] <8687> bring it back [7725] <0> to him again. {7725} <8686>

23:5 If (3588) thou see {7200} <8799> the ass {2543} of him that hateth {8130} <8802> thee lying {7257} <8802> under (8478) his burden, {4853} and wouldest forbear {2308} <8804> to help {5800} <8800> (4480) him, thou shalt surely [5800] <8800> help {5800} <8799> with (5973) him.

23:6 Thou shalt not (3808) wrest {5186} <8686> the judgment {4941} of thy poor {34} in his cause. {7379}

23:7 Keep thee far {7368} <8799> from a false [8267] matter; {1697} (4480) (8267) and the innocent {5355} and righteous {6662} slay {2026} <8799> thou not: (408) for (3588) I will not (3808) justify {6663} <8686> the wicked. {7563}

23:8 ¶ And thou shalt take {3947} <8799> no (3808) gift: {7810} for (3588) the gift {7810} blindeth {5786} <8762> the wise, {6493} and perverteth {5557} <8762> the words {1697} of the righteous. {6662}

23:9 ¶ Also thou shalt not (3808) oppress {3905} <8799> a stranger: {1616} for ye (859) know {3045} <8804> (853) the heart {5315} of a stranger, {1616} seeing {3588} ye were (1961) strangers {1616} in the land {776} of Egypt. {4714}

23:10 And six {8337} years {8141} thou shalt sow {2232} <8799> (853) thy land, {776} and shalt gather [622] <8804> in (622) (853) the fruits {8393} thereof:

23:11 But the seventh {7637} [year] thou shalt let it rest {8058} <8799> and lie [5203] <8804> still; (5203) that the poor {34} of thy people {5971} may eat: {398} <8804> and what they leave {3499} the beasts {2416} of the field {7704} shall eat. {398} <8799> In like manner (3651) thou shalt deal {6213} <8799> with thy vineyard, {3754} [and] with thy oliveyard. {2132}

23:12 Six {8337} days {3117} thou shalt do {6213} <8799> thy work, {4639} and on the seventh {7637} day {3117} thou shalt rest: {7673} <8799> that (4616) thine ox {7794} and thine ass {2543} may rest, {5117} <8799> and the son {1121} of thy handmaid, {519} and the stranger, {1616} may be refreshed. {5314} <8735>

23:13 And in all (3605) [things] that (834) I have said {559} <8804> unto (413) you be circumspect: {8104} <8735> and make no mention {2142} <8686> (3808) of the name {8034} of other {312} gods, {430} neither (3808) let it be heard {8085} <8735> out [5921] of (5921) thy mouth. {6310}

23:14 ¶ Three {7969} times {7272} thou shalt keep a feast {2287} <8799> unto me in the year. {8141}

23:15 Thou shalt keep {8104} <8799> (853) the feast {2282} of unleavened bread: {4682} (thou shalt eat {398} <8799> unleavened bread {4682} seven {7651} days, {3117} as (834) I commanded {6680} <8765> thee, in the time appointed {4150} of the month {2320} Abib; {24} for (3588) in it thou camest out {3318} <8804> from Egypt: {4714} (4480) and none (3808) shall appear {7200} <8735> before {6440} me empty:) {7387}

23:16 And the feast {2282} of harvest, {7105} the firstfruits {1061} of thy labours, {4639} which (834) thou hast sown {2232} <8799> in the field: {7704} and the feast {2282} of ingathering, {614} [which is] in the end {3318} <8800> of the year, {8141} when thou hast gathered [622] <8800> in (622) (853) thy labours {4639} out of (4480) the field. {7704}

23:17 Three {7969} times {6471} in the year {8141} all (3605) thy males {2138} shall appear {7200} <8735> before {6440} (413) the Lord {113} GOD. {3068}

23:18 Thou shalt not (3808) offer {2076} <8799> the blood {1818} of my sacrifice {2077} with (5921) leavened bread; {2557} neither (3808) shall the fat {2459} of my sacrifice {2282} remain {3885} <8799> until (5704) the morning. {1242}

23:19 The first {7225} of the firstfruits {1061} of thy land {127} thou shalt bring {935} <8686> into the house {1004} of the LORD {3068} thy God. {430} Thou shalt not (3808) seethe {1310} <8762> a kid {1423} in his mother's {517} milk. {2461}

23:20 ¶ Behold, (2009) I (595) send {7971} <8802> an Angel {4397} before {6440} thee, to keep {8104} <8800> thee in the way, {1870} and to bring {935} <8687> thee into (413) the place {4725} which (834) I have prepared. {3559} <8689>

23:21 Beware {8104} <8734> of {6440} (4480) him, and obey {8085} <8798> his voice, {6963} provoke {4843} <8686> him not; (408) for (3588) he will not (3808) pardon {5375} <8799> your transgressions: {6588} for (3588) my name {8034} [is] in (7130) him. [7130]

23:22 But (3588) if (518) thou shalt indeed [8085] <8800> obey {8085} <8799> his voice, {6963} and do {6213} <8804> all (3605) that (834) I speak; {1696} <8762> then I will be an enemy {340} <8804> (853) unto thine enemies, {341} <8802> and an adversary [6887] <8802> (6696) (853) unto thine adversaries. 23:23 For (3588) mine Angel {4397} shall go [3212] <8799> (1980) before {6440} thee, and bring [935] <8689> thee in (935) unto (413) the Amorites, {567} and the Hittites, {2850} and the Perizzites, {6522} and the Canaanites, {3669} the Hivites, {2340} and the Jebusites: {2983} and I will cut them off. {3582} <8689>

23:24 Thou shalt not (3808) bow down {7812} <8691> to their gods, {430} nor (3808) serve {5647} <8714> them, nor (3808) do {6213} <8799> after their works: {4639} but (3588) thou shalt utterly [2040] <8763> overthrow {2040} <8762> them, and quite [7665] <8763> break down {7665} <8762> their images. {4676}

23:25 And ye shall serve {5647} <8804> (853) the LORD {3068} your God, {430} and he shall bless {1288} <8765> (853) thy bread, {3899} and thy water; {4325} and I will take [5493] <0> sickness [4245] away {5493} <8689> (4245) from the midst {7130} (4480) of thee.

23:26 ¶ There shall nothing (3808) cast their young, {7921} <8764> (1961) nor be barren, {6135} in thy land: {776} (853) the number {4557} of thy days {3117} I will fulfil. {4390} <8762>

23:27 I will send {7971} <8762> (853) my fear {367} before {6440} thee, and will destroy {2000} <8804> (853) all (3605) the people {5971} to whom (834) thou shalt come, {935} <8799> and I will make {5414} <8804> (853) all (3605) thine enemies {341} <8802> turn their backs {6203} unto (413) thee.

23:28 And I will send {7971} <8804> (853) hornets {6880} before {6440} thee, which shall drive out {1644} <8765> (853) the Hivite, {2340} (853) the Canaanite, {3669} and the Hittite, {2850} from before {6440} (4480) thee.

23:29 I will not (3808) drive them out {1644} <8762> from before {6440} (4480) thee in one {259} year; {8141} lest (6435) the land {776} become (1961) desolate, {8077} and the beast {2416} of the field {7704} multiply {7227} against (5921) thee.

23:30 By little {4592} and little {4592} I will drive them out {1644} <8762> from before {6440} (4480) thee, until (5704) (834) thou be increased, {6509} <8799> and inherit {5157} <8804> (853) the land. {776}

23:31 And I will set {7896} <8804> (853) thy bounds {1366} from the Red [5488] sea {3220} (4480) (5488) even unto (5704) the sea {3220} of the Philistines, {6430} and from the desert {4057} (4480) unto (5704) the river: {5104} for (3588) I will deliver {5414} <8799> (853) the inhabitants {3427} <8802> of the land {776} into your hand; {3027} and thou shalt drive them out {1644} <8765> before {6440} (4480) thee.

23:32 Thou shalt make {3772} <8799> no (3808) covenant {1285} with them, nor with their gods. {430}

23:33 They shall not (3808) dwell {3427} <8799> in thy land, {776} lest (6435) they make thee sin {2398} <8686> (853) against me: for (3588) if thou serve {5647} <8799> (853) their gods, {430} it will surely (3588) be (1961) a snare {4170} unto thee.
