Chapter 19

1  A lamentation for the princes of Israel, under the parable of lions' whelps taken in a pit,  10  and for Jerusalem, under the parable of a wasted vine.

        19:1 ¶ Moreover take thou up 5375 8798z 859x a lamentation 7015 for 413x the princes 5387 of Israel, 3478

        19:2 And say, 559 8804z What 4100x [is] thy mother? 517 A lioness: 3833 she lay down 7257 8804z among 996x lions, 738 she nourished 7235 8765z her whelps 1482 among 8432 young lions. 3715

        19:3 And she brought up 5927 8686z one 259 of her whelps: 1482 4480x it became 1961x a young lion, 3715 and it learned 3925 8799z to catch 2963 8800z the prey; 2964 it devoured 398 8804z men. 120

        19:4 The nations 1471 also heard 8085 8799z of 413x him; he was taken 8610 8738z in their pit, 7845 and they brought 935 8686z him with chains 2397 unto 413x the land 776 of Egypt. 4714

        19:5 Now when she saw 7200 8799z that 3588x she had waited, 3176 8738z [and] her hope 8615 was lost, 6 8804z then she took 3947 8799z another 259 of her whelps, 1482 4480x [and] made 7760 8804z him a young lion. 3715

        19:6 And he went up and down 1980 8691z among 8432 the lions, 738 he became 1961x a young lion, 3715 and learned 3925 8799z to catch 2963 8800z the prey, 2964 [and] devoured 398 8804z men. 120

        19:7 And he knew 3045 8799z their desolate palaces, 490y 759x and he laid waste 2717 8689z their cities; 5892 and the land 776 was desolate, 3456 8799z and the fulness 4393 thereof, by the noise 6963 4480x of his roaring. 7581

        19:8 Then the nations 1471 set 5414 8799z against 5921x him on every side 5439 from the provinces, 4082 4480x and spread 6566 8799z their net 7568 over 5921x him: he was taken 8610 8738z in their pit. 7845

        19:9 And they put 5414 8799z him in ward 5474 in chains, 2397 and brought 935 8686z him to 413x the king 4428 of Babylon: 894 they brought 935 8686z him into holds, 4685y 4679x that 4616x his voice 6963 should no 3808x more 5750x be heard 8085 8735z upon 413x the mountains 2022 of Israel. 3478

        19:10 ¶ Thy mother 517 [is] like a vine 1612 in thy blood, 1818 8676z planted 8362 8803z by 5921x the waters: 4325 she was 1961x fruitful 6509 8802z and full of branches 6058 by reason of many 7227 waters. 4325 4480x

        19:11 And she had 1961x strong 5797 rods 4294 for 413x the sceptres 7626 of them that bare rule, 4910 8802z and her stature 6967 was exalted 1361 8799z among 5921x 996x the thick branches, 5688 and she appeared 7200 8735z in her height 1363 with the multitude 7230 of her branches. 1808

        19:12 But she was plucked up 5428 8714z in fury, 2534 she was cast down 7993 8717z to the ground, 776 and the east 6921 wind 7307 dried up 3001 8689z her fruit: 6529 her strong 5797 rods 4294 were broken 6561 8694z and withered; 3001 8804z the fire 784 consumed 398 8804z them.

        19:13 And now 6258x she [is] planted 8362 8803z in the wilderness, 4057 in a dry 6723 and thirsty 6772 ground. 776

        19:14 And fire 784 is gone out 3318 8799z of a rod 4294 4480x of her branches, 905 [which] hath devoured 398 8804z her fruit, 6529 so that she hath 1961x no 3808x strong 5797 rod 4294 [to be] a sceptre 7626 to rule. 4910 8800z This 1931x [is] a lamentation, 7015 and shall be 1961x for a lamentation. 7015
