Ezekiel

Chapter 32

1  A lamentation for the fearful fall of Egypt.  11  The sword of Babylon shall destroy it.  17  It shall be brought down to hell, among all the uncircumcised nations.

32:1 ¶ And it came to pass (1961) in the twelfth {8147} {6240} year, {8141} in the twelfth (8147) (6240) month, {2320} in the first {259} [day] of the month, {2320} [that] the word {1697} of the LORD {3068} came (1961) unto (413) me, saying, {559} <8800>

32:2 Son {1121} of man, {120} take up {5375} <8798> a lamentation {7015} for (5921) Pharaoh {6547} king {4428} of Egypt, {4714} and say {559} <8804> unto (413) him, Thou art like {1819} <8738> a young lion {3715} of the nations, {1471} and thou (859) [art] as a whale {8577} q8676- [8565] in the seas: {3220} and thou camest forth {1518} <8799> with thy rivers, {5104} and troubledst {1804} <8799> the waters {4325} with thy feet, {7272} and fouledst [7515] <8799> (7511) their rivers. {5104}

32:3 Thus (3541) saith {559} <8804> the Lord {136} GOD; {3069} I will therefore spread out {6566} <8804> (853) my net {7568} over (5921) thee with a company {6951} of many {7227} people; {5971} and they shall bring thee up {5927} <8689> in my net. {2764}

32:4 Then will I leave {5203} <8804> thee upon the land, {776} I will cast thee forth {2904} <8686> upon (5921) the open {6440} field, {7704} and will cause all (3605) the fowls {5775} of the heaven {8064} to remain {7931} <8689> upon (5921) thee, and I will fill {7646} <8689> the beasts {2416} of the whole (3605) earth {776} with (4480) thee.

32:5 And I will lay {5414} <8804> (853) thy flesh {1320} upon (5921) the mountains, {2022} and fill {4390} <8765> the valleys {1516} with thy height. {7419}

32:6 I will also water {8248} <8689> with thy blood {1818} (4480) the land {776} wherein thou swimmest, {6824} [even] to (413) the mountains; {2022} and the rivers {650} shall be full {4390} <8735> of (4480) thee.

32:7 And when I shall put thee out, {3518} <8763> I will cover {3680} <8765> the heaven, {8064} and make [6937] <0> the stars [3556] thereof dark; {6937} <8689> (853) (3556) I will cover {3680} <8762> the sun {8121} with a cloud, {6051} and the moon {3394} shall not (3808) give {215} <8686> her light. {216}

32:8 All (3605) the bright [3974] (216) lights [216] (3974) of heaven {8064} will I make dark {6937} <8686> over (5921) thee, and set {5414} <8804> darkness {2822} upon (5921) thy land, {776} saith {5002} <8803> the Lord {136} GOD. {3069}

32:9 I will also vex {3707} <8689> the hearts {3820} of many {7227} people, {5971} when I shall bring {935} <8687> thy destruction {7667} among the nations, {1471} into (5921) the countries {776} which (834) thou hast not (3808) known. {3045} <8804>

32:10 Yea, I will make many [7227] people [5971] amazed {8074} <8689> (5971) (7227) at (5921) thee, and their kings {4428} shall be horribly [8178] afraid {8175} <8799> (8178) for (5921) thee, when I shall brandish {5774} <8788> my sword {2719} before (5921) (6440) them; [6440] and they shall tremble {2729} <8804> at [every] moment, {7281} every man {376} for his own life, {5315} in the day {3117} of thy fall. {4658}

32:11 ¶ For (3588) thus (3541) saith {559} <8804> the Lord {136} GOD; {3069} The sword {2719} of the king {4428} of Babylon {894} shall come [935] <8799> upon (935) thee.

32:12 By the swords {2719} of the mighty {1368} will I cause thy multitude {1995} to fall, {5307} <8686> the terrible {6184} of the nations, {1471} all (3605) of them: and they shall spoil {7703} <8804> (853) the pomp {1347} of Egypt, {4714} and all (3605) the multitude {1995} thereof shall be destroyed. {8045} <8738>

32:13 I will destroy {6} <8689> also (853) all (3605) the beasts {929} thereof from [5921] beside (4480) (5921) the great {7227} waters; {4325} neither (3808) shall the foot {7272} of man {120} trouble {1804} <8799> them any more, (5750) nor (3808) the hoofs {6541} of beasts {929} trouble {1804} <8799> them.

32:14 Then (227) will I make their waters [4325] deep, {8257} <8686> (4325) and cause their rivers {5104} to run [3212] <8686> (1980) like oil, {8081} saith {5002} <8803> the Lord {136} GOD. {3069}

32:15 When I shall make {5414} <8800> (853) the land {776} of Egypt {4714} desolate, {8077} and the country {776} shall be destitute {8074} <8737> of that whereof it was full, {4393} (4480) when I shall smite {5221} <8687> (853) all (3605) them that dwell {3427} <8802> therein, then shall they know {3045} <8804> that (3588) I (589) [am] the LORD. {3068}

32:16 This (1931) [is] the lamentation {7015} wherewith they shall lament {6969} <8790> her: the daughters {1323} of the nations {1471} shall lament {6969} <8787> her: they shall lament {6969} <8787> for her, [even] for (5921) Egypt, {4714} and for (5921) all (3605) her multitude, {1995} saith {5002} <8803> the Lord {136} GOD. {3069}

32:17 ¶ It came to pass (1961) also in the twelfth {8147} {6240} year, {8141} in the fifteenth {2568} {6240} [day] of the month, {2320} [that] the word {1697} of the LORD {3068} came (1961) unto (413) me, saying, {559} <8800>

32:18 Son {1121} of man, {120} wail {5091} <8798> for (5921) the multitude {1995} of Egypt, {4714} and cast them down, {3381} <8685> [even] her, and the daughters {1323} of the famous {117} nations, {1471} unto (413) the nether parts {8482} of the earth, {776} with (854) them that go down {3381} <8802> into the pit. {953}

32:19 Whom (4480) (4310) dost thou pass in beauty? {5276} <8804> go down, {3381} <8798> and be thou laid {7901} <8713> with (854) the uncircumcised. {6189}

32:20 They shall fall {5307} <8799> in the midst {8432} of [them that are] slain {2491} by the sword: {2719} she is delivered {5414} <8738> to the sword: {2719} draw {4900} <8798> her and all (3605) her multitudes. {1995}

32:21 The strong {410} among the mighty {1368} shall speak {1696} <8762> to him out of the midst {8432} (4480) of hell {7585} with (854) them that help {5826} <8802> him: they are gone down, {3381} <8804> they lie {7901} <8804> uncircumcised, {6189} slain {2491} by the sword. {2719}

32:22 Asshur {804} [is] there (8033) and all (3605) her company: {6951} his graves {6913} [are] about {5439} him: all (3605) of them slain, {2491} fallen {5307} <8802> by the sword: {2719}

32:23 Whose (834) graves {6913} are set {5414} <8738> in the sides {3411} of the pit, {953} and her company {6951} is (1961) round about {5439} her grave: {6900} all (3605) of them slain, {2491} fallen {5307} <8802> by the sword, {2719} which (834) caused {5414} <8804> terror {2851} in the land {776} of the living. {2416}

32:24 There (8033) [is] Elam {5867} and all (3605) her multitude {1995} round about {5439} her grave, {6900} all (3605) of them slain, {2491} fallen {5307} <8802> by the sword, {2719} which (834) are gone down {3381} <8804> uncircumcised {6189} into (413) the nether parts {8482} of the earth, {776} which (834) caused {5414} <8804> their terror {2851} in the land {776} of the living; {2416} yet have they borne {5375} <8799> their shame {3639} with (854) them that go down {3381} <8802> to the pit. {953}

32:25 They have set {5414} <8804> her a bed {4904} in the midst {8432} of the slain {2491} with all (3605) her multitude: {1995} her graves {6913} [are] round about {5439} him: all (3605) of them uncircumcised, {6189} slain {2491} by the sword: {2719} though (3588) their terror {2851} was caused {5414} <8737> in the land {776} of the living, {2416} yet have they borne {5375} <8799> their shame {3639} with (854) them that go down {3381} <8802> to the pit: {953} he is put {5414} <8738> in the midst {8432} of [them that be] slain. {2491}

32:26 There (8033) [is] Meshech, {4902} Tubal, {8422} and all (3605) her multitude: {1995} her graves {6913} [are] round about {5439} him: all (3605) of them uncircumcised, {6189} slain {2490} <8794> by the sword, {2719} though (3588) they caused {5414} <8804> their terror {2851} in the land {776} of the living. {2416}

32:27 And they shall not (3808) lie {7901} <8799> with (854) the mighty {1368} [that are] fallen {5307} <8802> of the uncircumcised, {6189} (4480) which (834) are gone down {3381} <8804> to hell {7585} with their weapons {3627} of war: {4421} and they have laid {5414} <8799> (853) their swords {2719} under (8478) their heads, {7218} but their iniquities {5771} shall be (1961) upon (5921) their bones, {6106} though (3588) [they were] the terror {2851} of the mighty {1368} in the land {776} of the living. {2416}

32:28 Yea, thou (859) shalt be broken {7665} <8735> in the midst {8432} of the uncircumcised, {6189} and shalt lie {7901} <8799> with (854) [them that are] slain {2491} with the sword. {2719}

32:29 There (8033) [is] Edom, {123} her kings, {4428} and all (3605) her princes, {5387} which (834) with their might {1369} are laid {5414} <8738> by (854) [them that were] slain {2491} by the sword: {2719} they (1992) shall lie {7901} <8799> with (854) the uncircumcised, {6189} and with (854) them that go down {3381} <8802> to the pit. {953}

32:30 There (8033) [be] the princes {5257} of the north, {6828} all (3605) of them, and all (3605) the Zidonians, {6722} which (834) are gone down {3381} <8804> with (854) the slain; {2491} with their terror {2851} they are ashamed {954} <8802> of their might; {1369} (4480) and they lie {7901} <8799> uncircumcised {6189} with (854) [them that be] slain {2491} by the sword, {2719} and bear {5375} <8799> their shame {3639} with (854) them that go down {3381} <8802> to the pit. {953}

32:31 Pharaoh {6547} shall see {7200} <8799> them, and shall be comforted {5162} <8738> over (5921) all (3605) his multitude, {1995} [even] Pharaoh {6547} and all (3605) his army {2428} slain {2491} by the sword, {2719} saith {5002} <8803> the Lord {136} GOD. {3069}

32:32 For (3588) I have caused {5414} <8804> (853) my terror {2851} in the land {776} of the living: {2416} and he shall be laid {7901} <8717> in the midst {8432} of the uncircumcised {6189} with (854) [them that are] slain {2491} with the sword, {2719} [even] Pharaoh {6547} and all (3605) his multitude, {1995} saith {5002} <8803> the Lord {136} GOD. {3069}
