1  The genealogy, age, and death of the patriarchs from Adam unto Noah.  24  The godliness and translation of Enoch.

5:1 ¶ This {2088} [is] the book {5612} of the generations {8435} of Adam. {121} In the day {3117} that God {430} created {1254} <8800> man, {120} in the likeness {1823} of God {430} made {6213} <8804> he him;

5:6 And Seth {8352} lived {2421} <8799> an hundred {3967} [8141] and five {2568} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> (853) Enos: {583}

5:7 And Seth {8352} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Enos {583} eight {8083} hundred {3967} [8141] and seven {7651} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:8 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Seth {8352} were (1961) nine {8672} hundred {3967} [8141] and twelve {6240} {8147} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:9 ¶ And Enos {583} lived {2421} <8799> ninety {8673} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> (853) Cainan: {7018}

5:10 And Enos {583} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Cainan {7018} eight {8083} hundred {3967} [8141] and fifteen {6240} {2568} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:11 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Enos {583} were (1961) nine {8672} hundred {3967} [8141] and five {2568} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:12 ¶ And Cainan {7018} lived {2421} <8799> seventy {7657} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> (853) Mahalaleel: {4111}

5:13 And Cainan {7018} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Mahalaleel {4111} eight {8083} hundred {3967} [8141] and forty {705} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:14 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Cainan {7018} were (1961) nine {8672} hundred {3967} [8141] and ten {6235} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:15 ¶ And Mahalaleel {4111} lived {2421} <8799> sixty {8346} [8141] and five {2568} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> (853) Jared: {3382}

5:16 And Mahalaleel {4111} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Jared {3382} eight {8083} hundred {3967} [8141] and thirty {7970} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:17 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Mahalaleel {4111} were (1961) eight {8083} hundred {3967} [8141] ninety {8673} and five {2568} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:19 And Jared {3382} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Enoch {2585} eight {8083} hundred {3967} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:20 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Jared {3382} were (1961) nine {8672} hundred {3967} [8141] sixty {8346} and two {8147} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:21 ¶ And Enoch {2585} lived {2421} <8799> sixty {8346} and five {2568} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> (853) Methuselah: {4968}

5:22 And Enoch {2585} walked {1980} <8691> with {854} God {430} after {310} he begat {3205} {853} <8687> Methuselah {4968} three {7969} hundred {3967} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:23 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Enoch {2585} were (1961) three {7969} hundred {3967} [8141] sixty {8346} and five {2568} years: {8141}

5:24 And Enoch {2585} walked {1980} <8691> with (854) God: {430} and he [was] not; (369) for (3588) God {430} took {3947} <8804> him.

5:25 And Methuselah {4968} lived {2421} <8799> an hundred {3967} [8141] eighty {8084} and seven {7651} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> (853) Lamech: {3929}

5:26 And Methuselah {4968} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Lamech {3929} seven {7651} hundred {3967} [8141] eighty {8084} and two {8147} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:27 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Methuselah {4968} were (1961) nine {8672} hundred {3967} [8141] sixty {8346} and nine {8672} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:28 ¶ And Lamech {3929} lived {2421} <8799> an hundred {3967} [8141] eighty {8084} and two {8147} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> a son: {1121}

5:29 And he called {7121} <8799> (853) his name {8034} Noah, {5146} saying, {559} <8800> This (2088) [same] shall comfort {5162} <8762> us concerning our work {4639} (4480) and toil {6093} (4480) of our hands, {3027} because [4480] of (4480) the ground {127} which (834) the LORD {3068} hath cursed. {779} <8765>

5:30 And Lamech {3929} lived {2421} <8799> after {310} he begat {3205} <8687> (853) Noah {5146} five {2568} hundred {3967} [8141] ninety {8673} and five {2568} years, {8141} and begat {3205} <8686> sons {1121} and daughters: {1323}

5:31 And all (3605) the days {3117} of Lamech {3929} were (1961) seven {7651} hundred {3967} [8141] seventy {7657} and seven {7651} years: {8141} and he died. {4191} <8799>

5:32 And Noah {5146} was (1961) five {2568} hundred {3967} years {8141} old: {1121} and Noah {5146} begat {3205} <8686> (853) Shem, {8035} (853) Ham, {2526} and Japheth. {3315}
