Chapter 50

1  Christ sheweth that the dereliction of the Jews is not to be imputed to him, by his ability to save,  5  by his obedience in that work,  7  and by his confidence in that assistance.  10  An exhortation to trust in God, and not in ourselves.

        50:1 ¶ Thus 3541x saith 559 8804z the LORD, 3068 Where 335x [is] the bill 5612 of your mother's 517 divorcement, 3748 whom 834x I have put away? 7971 8765z or 176x which 4310x of my creditors 5383 8802z 4480x [is it] to whom 834x I have sold 4376 8804z you? Behold, 2005x for your iniquities 5771 have ye sold 4376y 8738z yourselves, 4376x and for your transgressions 6588 is your mother 517 put away. 7971 8795z

        50:2 Wherefore, 4069x when I came, 935 8804z [was there] no 369x man? 376 when I called, 7121 8804z [was there] none 369x to answer? 6030 8802z Is my hand 3027 shortened 7114y 8804z at all, 7114 8800z that it cannot redeem? 6304 4480x or 518x have I no 369x power 3581 to deliver? 5337 8687z behold, 2005x at my rebuke 1606 I dry up 2717 8686z the sea, 3220 I make 7760 8799z the rivers 5104 a wilderness: 4057 their fish 1710 stinketh, 887 8799z because [there is] no 4480x 369x water, 4325 and dieth 4191 8799z for thirst. 6772

        50:3 I clothe 3847 8686z the heavens 8064 with blackness, 6940 and I make 7760 8799z sackcloth 8242 their covering. 3682

        50:4 The Lord 136 GOD 3069 hath given 5414 8804z me the tongue 3956 of the learned, 3928 that I should know 3045 8800z how to speak 5790y 8800z a word 1697y in season 5790x 1697x to 853x [him that is] weary: 3287 he wakeneth 5782 8686z morning 1242 by morning, 1242 he wakeneth 5782 8686z mine ear 241 to hear 8085 8800z as the learned. 3928

        50:5 ¶ The Lord 136 GOD 3069 hath opened 6605 8804z mine ear, 241 and I 595x was not 3808x rebellious, 4784 8804z neither 3808x turned away 5472 8738z back. 268

        50:6 I gave 5414 8804z my back 1460 to the smiters, 5221 8688z and my cheeks 3895 to them that plucked off 4803y 8802z the hair: 4803x I hid 5641 8689z not 3808x my face 6440 from shame 3639 4480x and spitting. 7536

        50:7 ¶ For the Lord 136 GOD 3069 will help 5826 8799z me; therefore 5921x 3651x shall I not 3808x be confounded: 3637 8738z therefore 5921x 3651x have I set 7760 8804z my face 6440 like a flint, 2496 and I know 3045 8799z that 3588x I shall not 3808x be ashamed. 954 8799z

        50:8 [He is] near 7138 that justifieth 6663 8688z me; who 4310x will contend 7378 8799z with 854x me? let us stand 5975 8799z together: 3162 who 4310x [is] mine adversary? 1167 4941 let him come near 5066 8799z to 413x me.

        50:9 Behold, 2005x the Lord 136 GOD 3069 will help 5826 8799z me; who 4310x [is] he 1931x [that] shall condemn 7561 8686z me? lo, 2005x they all 3605x shall wax old 1086 8799z as a garment; 899 the moth 6211 shall eat them up. 398 8799z

        50:10 ¶ Who 4310x [is] among you that feareth 3373 the LORD, 3068 that obeyeth 8085 8802z the voice 6963 of his servant, 5650 that 834x walketh 1980 8804z [in] darkness, 2825 and hath no 369x light? 5051 let him trust 982 8799z in the name 8034 of the LORD, 3068 and stay 8172 8735z upon his God. 430

        50:11 Behold, 2005x all 3605x ye that kindle 6919 8802z a fire, 784 that compass [yourselves] about 247 8764z with sparks: 2131 walk 3212y 8798z 1980x in the light 217 of your fire, 784 and in the sparks 2131 [that] ye have kindled. 1197 8765z This 2063x shall ye have 1961x of mine hand; 3027 4480x ye shall lie down 7901 8799z in sorrow. 4620
