Chapter 55

1  The prophet, with the promises of Christ, calleth to faith,  6  and to repentance.  8  The happy success of them that believe.

        55:1 ¶ Ho, 1945 every one 3605x that thirsteth, 6771 come 3212y 8798z 1980x ye to the waters, 4325 and he that 834x hath no 369x money; 3701 come 3212y 8798z 1980x ye, buy, 7666 8798z and eat; 398 8798z yea, come, 3212y 8798z 1980x buy 7666 8798z wine 3196 and milk 2461 without 3808x money 3701 and without 3808x price. 4242

        55:2 Wherefore 4100x do ye spend 8254 8799z money 3701 for [that which is] not 3808x bread? 3899 and your labour 3018 for [that which] satisfieth 7654 not? 3808 hearken 8085y 8798z diligently 8085 8800z unto 413x me, and eat 398 8798z ye [that which is] good, 2896 and let your soul 5315 delight 6026y 8691z itself 6026x in fatness. 1880

        55:3 Incline 5186 8685z your ear, 241 and come 3212y 8798z 1980x unto 413x me: hear, 8085 8798z and your soul 5315 shall live; 2421 8799z and I will make 3772 8799z an everlasting 5769 covenant 1285 with you, [even] the sure 539 8737z mercies 2617 of David. 1732

        55:4 Behold, 2005x I have given 5414 8804z him [for] a witness 5707 to the people, 3816 a leader 5057 and commander 6680 8764z to the people. 3816

        55:5 Behold, 2005x thou shalt call 7121 8799z a nation 1471 [that] thou knowest 3045 8799z not, 3808x and nations 1471 [that] knew 3045 8804z not 3808x thee shall run 7323 8799z unto 413x thee because 4616x of the LORD 3068 thy God, 430 and for the Holy One 6918 of Israel; 3478 for 3588x he hath glorified 6286 8765z thee.

        55:6 ¶ Seek 1875 8798z ye the LORD 3068 while he may be found, 4672 8736z call 7121 8798z ye upon him while he is 1961x near: 7138

        55:7 Let the wicked 7563 forsake 5800 8799z his way, 1870 and the unrighteous 205 man 376 his thoughts: 4284 and let him return 7725 8799z unto 413x the LORD, 3068 and he will have mercy 7355 8762z upon him; and to 413x our God, 430 for 3588x he will abundantly 7235 8686z pardon. 5545 8800z

        55:8 ¶ For 3588x my thoughts 4284 [are] not 3808x your thoughts, 4284 neither 3808x [are] your ways 1870 my ways, 1870 saith 5002 8803z the LORD. 3068

        55:9 For 3588x [as] the heavens 8064 are higher 1361 8804z than the earth, 776 4480x so 3651x are my ways 1870y higher 1361 8804z 1870x than your ways, 1870 4480x and my thoughts 4284 than your thoughts. 4284 4480x

        55:10 For 3588x as 834x the rain 1653 cometh down, 3381 8799z and the snow 7950 from 4480x heaven, 8064 and returneth 7725 8799z not 3808x thither, 8033x but 3588x 518x watereth 7301 8689z 853x the earth, 776 and maketh it bring forth 3205 8689z and bud, 6779 8689z that it may give 5414 8804z seed 2233 to the sower, 2232 8802z and bread 3899 to the eater: 398 8802z

        55:11 So 3651x shall my word 1697 be 1961x that 834x goeth forth 3318 8799z out of my mouth: 6310 4480x it shall not 3808x return 7725 8799z unto 413x me void, 7387 but 3588x 518x it shall accomplish 6213 8804z 853x that which 834x I please, 2654 8804z and it shall prosper 6743 8689z [in the thing] whereto 834x I sent 7971 8804z it.

        55:12 For 3588x ye shall go out 3318 8799z with joy, 8057 and be led forth 2986 8714z with peace: 7965 the mountains 2022 and the hills 1389 shall break forth 6476 8799z before 6440 you into singing, 7440 and all 3605x the trees 6086 of the field 7704 shall clap 4222 8799z [their] hands. 3709

        55:13 Instead 8478x of the thorn 5285 shall come up 5927 8799z the fir tree, 1265 and instead 8478x of the brier 5636 shall come up 5927 8799z the myrtle tree: 1918 and it shall be 1961x to the LORD 3068 for a name, 8034 for an everlasting 5769 sign 226 [that] shall not 3808x be cut off. 3772 8735z
