Chapter 62

1  The fervent desire of the prophet to confirm the Church in God's promises.  5  The office of the ministers (unto which they are incited) in preaching the Gospel,  10  and preparing the people thereto.

        62:1 ¶ For Zion's 6726y sake 4616x 6726x will I not 3808x hold my peace, 2814 8799z and for Jerusalem's 3389y sake 4616x I will not 3808x rest, 8252 8799z until 5704x the righteousness 6664 thereof go forth 3318 8799z as brightness, 5051 and the salvation 3444 thereof as a lamp 3940 [that] burneth. 1197 8799z

        62:2 And the Gentiles 1471 shall see 7200 8804z thy righteousness, 6664 and all 3605x kings 4428 thy glory: 3519 and thou shalt be called 7121 8795z by a new 2319 name, 5344y 8799z 8034x which 834x the mouth 6310 of the LORD 3068 shall name. 8034y 5344x

        62:3 Thou shalt also be 1961x a crown 5850 of glory 8597 in the hand 3027 of the LORD, 3068 and a royal 4410 diadem 6797 8675z in the hand 3709 of thy God. 430

        62:4 Thou shalt no 3808x more 5750x be termed 559 8735z Forsaken; 5800 8803z neither 3808x shall thy land 776 any more 5750x be termed 559 8735z Desolate: 8077 but 3588x thou shalt be called 7121 8735z Hephzibah, 2657 and thy land 776 Beulah: 1166 8803z for 3588x the LORD 3068 delighteth 2654 8804z in thee, and thy land 776 shall be married. 1166 8735z

        62:5 ¶ For 3588x [as] a young man 970 marrieth 1166 8799z a virgin, 1330 [so] shall thy sons 1121 marry 1166 8799z thee: and [as] the bridegroom 2860 rejoiceth 4885 over 5921x the bride, 3618 [so] shall thy God 430 rejoice 7797 8799z over 5921x thee.

        62:6 I have set 6485 8689z watchmen 8104 8802z upon 5921x thy walls, 2346 O Jerusalem, 3389 [which] shall never 8548 3808x hold their peace 2814 8799z day 3117 nor night: 3915 ye that make mention 2142 8688z of 853x the LORD, 3068 keep not silence, 1824 408x

        62:7 And give 5414 8799z him no 408x rest, 1824 till 5704x he establish, 3559 8787z and till 5704x he make 7760 8799z 853x Jerusalem 3389 a praise 8416 in the earth. 776

        62:8 The LORD 3068 hath sworn 7650 8738z by his right hand, 3225 and by the arm 2220 of his strength, 5797 Surely I will 518y no 518x more 5750x give 5414 8799z 853x thy corn 1715 [to be] meat 3978 for thine enemies; 341 8802z and the sons 1121 of the stranger 5236 shall not 518x drink 8354 8799z thy wine, 8492 for the which 834x thou hast laboured: 3021 8804z

        62:9 But 3588x they that have gathered 622 8764z it shall eat 398 8799z it, and praise 1984 8765z 853x the LORD; 3068 and they that have brought it together 6908 8764z shall drink 8354 8799z it in the courts 2691 of my holiness. 6944

        62:10 ¶ Go through, 5674 8798z go through 5674 8798z the gates; 8179 prepare 6437 8761z ye the way 1870 of the people; 5971 cast up, 5549 8798z cast up 5549 8798z the highway; 4546 gather out 5619 8761z the stones; 68 4480x lift up 7311 8685z a standard 5251 for 5921x the people. 5971

        62:11 Behold, 2009x the LORD 3068 hath proclaimed 8085 8689z unto 413x the end 7097 of the world, 776 Say 559 8798z ye to the daughter 1323 of Zion, 6726 Behold, 2009x thy salvation 3468 cometh; 935 8802z behold, 2009x his reward 7939 [is] with 854x him, and his work 6468 before 6440 him.

        62:12 And they shall call 7121 8804z them, The holy 6944 people, 5971 The redeemed 1350 8803z of the LORD: 3068 and thou shalt be called, 7121 8735z Sought out, 1875 8803z A city 5892 not 3808x forsaken. 5800 8737z
