Chapter 3

1  God's judgment against the enemies of his people.  9  God will be known in his judgment.  18  His blessing upon the Church.

        3:1 ¶ For, 3588x behold, 2009x in those 1992x days, 3117 and in that 1931x time, 6256 when 834x I shall bring again 7725 8686z 8675z 8799z 853x the captivity 7622 of Judah 3063 and Jerusalem, 3389

        3:2 I will also gather 6908 8765z 853x all 3605x nations, 1471 and will bring them down 3381 8689z into 413x the valley 6010 of Jehoshaphat, 3092 and will plead 8199 8738z with 5973x them there 8033x for 5921x my people 5971 and [for] my heritage 5159 Israel, 3478 whom 834x they have scattered 6340 8765z among the nations, 1471 and parted 2505 8765z my land. 776

        3:3 And they have cast 3032 8804z lots 1486 for 413x my people; 5971 and have given 5414 8799z a boy 3206 for an harlot, 2181 8802z and sold 4376 8804z a girl 3207 for wine, 3196 that they might drink. 8354 8799z

        3:4 Yea, 1571x and what 4100x have ye 859x to do with me, O Tyre, 6865 and Zidon, 6721 and all 3605x the coasts 1552 of Palestine? 6429 will ye 859x render 7999 8764z 5921x me a recompence? 1576 and if 518x ye 859x recompense 1580 8802z 5921x me, swiftly 7031 [and] speedily 4120 will I return 7725 8686z your recompence 1576 upon your own head; 7218

        3:5 Because 834x ye have taken 3947 8804z my silver 3701 and my gold, 2091 and have carried 935 8689z into your temples 1964 my goodly 2896 pleasant things: 4261

        3:6 The children 1121 also of Judah 3063 and the children 1121 of Jerusalem 3389 have ye sold 4376 8804z unto the Grecians, 3125 1121 that 4616x ye might remove them far 7368 8687z from 4480x 5921x their border. 1366

        3:7 Behold, 2009x I will raise 5782 8688z them out of 4480x the place 4725 whither 834x 8033x ye have sold 4376 8804z them, and will return 7725 8689z your recompence 1576 upon your own head: 7218

        3:8 And I will sell 4376 8804z 853x your sons 1121 and your daughters 1323 into the hand 3027 of the children 1121 of Judah, 3063 and they shall sell 4376 8804z them to the Sabeans, 7615 to 413x a people 1471 far off: 7350 for 3588x the LORD 3068 hath spoken 1696 8765z [it].

        3:9 ¶ Proclaim 7121 8798z ye this 2063x among the Gentiles; 1471 Prepare 6942 8761z war, 4421 wake up 5782 8685z the mighty men, 1368 let all 3605x the men 582y 376x of war 4421 draw near; 5066 8799z let them come up: 5927 8799z

        3:10 Beat 3807 8798z your plowshares 855 into swords, 2719 and your pruninghooks 4211 into spears: 7420 let the weak 2523 say, 559 8799z I 589x [am] strong. 1368

        3:11 Assemble 5789 8798z yourselves, and come, 935 8798z all 3605x ye heathen, 1471 and gather yourselves together 6908 8738z round about: 5439 4480x thither 8033x cause thy mighty ones 1368 to come down, 5181 8685z O LORD. 3068

        3:12 Let the heathen 1471 be wakened, 5782 8735z and come up 5927 8799z to 413x the valley 6010 of Jehoshaphat: 3092 for 3588x there 8033x will I sit 3427 8799z to judge 8199 8800z 853x all 3605x the heathen 1471 round about. 5439 4480x

        3:13 Put 7971 8798z ye in the sickle, 4038 for 3588x the harvest 7105 is ripe: 1310 8804z come, 935 8798z get you down; 3381 8798z for 3588x the press 1660 is full, 4390 8804z the fats 3342 overflow; 7783 8689z for 3588x their wickedness 7451 [is] great. 7227

        3:14 Multitudes, 1995 multitudes 1995 in the valley 6010 of decision: 2742 for 3588x the day 3117 of the LORD 3068 [is] near 7138 in the valley 6010 of decision. 2742

        3:15 The sun 8121 and the moon 3394 shall be darkened, 6937 8804z and the stars 3556 shall withdraw 622 8804z their shining. 5051

        3:16 The LORD 3068 also shall roar 7580 8799z out of Zion, 6726 4480x and utter 5414 8799z his voice 6963 from Jerusalem; 3389 4480x and the heavens 8064 and the earth 776 shall shake: 7493 8804z but the LORD 3068 [will be] the hope 4268 of his people, 5971 and the strength 4581 of the children 1121 of Israel. 3478

        3:17 So shall ye know 3045 8804z that 3588x I 589x [am] the LORD 3068 your God 430 dwelling 7931 8802z in Zion, 6726 my holy 6944 mountain: 2022 then shall Jerusalem 3389 be 1961x holy, 6944 and there shall no 3808x strangers 2114 8801z pass through 5674 8799z her any more. 5750x

        3:18 ¶ And it shall come to pass 1961x in that 1931x day, 3117 [that] the mountains 2022 shall drop down 5197 8799z new wine, 6071 and the hills 1389 shall flow 3212y 8799z 1980x with milk, 2461 and all 3605x the rivers 650 of Judah 3063 shall flow 3212y 8799z 1980x with waters, 4325 and a fountain 4599 shall come forth 3318 8799z of the house 1004 4480x of the LORD, 3068 and shall water 8248 8689z 853x the valley 5158 of Shittim. 7851

        3:19 Egypt 4714 shall be 1961x a desolation, 8077 and Edom 123 shall be 1961x a desolate 8077 wilderness, 4057 for 4480x the violence 2555 [against] the children 1121 of Judah, 3063 because 834x they have shed 8210 8804z innocent 5355 blood 1818 in their land. 776

        3:20 But Judah 3063 shall dwell 3427 8799z for ever, 5769 and Jerusalem 3389 from generation 1755 to generation. 1755

        3:21 For I will cleanse 5352 8765z their blood 1818 [that] I have not 3808x cleansed: 5352 8765z for the LORD 3068 dwelleth 7931 8802z in Zion. 6726
