Chapter 5

1  He that sinneth in concealing his knowledge,  2  in touching an unclean thing,  4  or in making an oath.  6  His trespass offering, of the flock,  7  of fowls,  11  or of flour.  14  The trespass offering in sacrilege,  17  and in sins of ignorance.

        5:1 ¶ And if 3588x a soul 5315 sin, 2398 8799z and hear 8085 8804z the voice 6963 of swearing, 423 and [is] a witness, 5707 whether 176 he hath seen 7200 8804z or 176x known 3045 8804z [of it]; if 518x he do not 3808x utter 5046 8686z [it], then he shall bear 5375 8804z his iniquity. 5771

        5:2 Or 176x if a soul 5315 touch 5060 8799z any 3605x unclean 2931 thing, 1697 whether 176x [it be] a carcase 5038 of an unclean 2931 beast, 2416 or 176x a carcase 5038 of unclean 2931 cattle, 929 or 176x the carcase 5038 of unclean 2931 creeping things, 8318 and [if] it be hidden 5956 8738z from 4480x him; he 1931x also shall be unclean, 2931 and guilty. 816 8804z

        5:3 Or 176x if 3588x he touch 5060 8799z the uncleanness 2932 of man, 120 whatsoever 3605x uncleanness 2932 [it be] that 834x a man shall be defiled 2930 8799z withal, and it be hid 5956 8738z from 4480x him; when he 1931x knoweth 3045 8804z [of it], then he shall be guilty. 816 8804z

        5:4 Or 176x if 3588x a soul 5315 swear, 7650 8735z pronouncing 981 8763z with [his] lips 8193 to do evil, 7489 8687z or 176x to do good, 3190 8687z whatsoever 3605x 834x [it be] that a man 120 shall pronounce 981 8762z with an oath, 7621 and it be hid 5956 8738z from 4480x him; when he 1931x knoweth 3045 8804z [of it], then he shall be guilty 816 8804z in one 259 of these. 4480x 428x

        5:5 And it shall be, 1961x when 3588x he shall be guilty 816 8799z in one 259 of these 4480x 428x [things], that he shall confess 3034 8694z that 834x he hath sinned 2398 8804z in 5921x that [thing]:

        5:6 And he shall bring 935 8689z 853x his trespass offering 817 unto the LORD 3068 for 5921x his sin 2403 which 834x he hath sinned, 2398 8804z a female 5347 from 4480x the flock, 6629 a lamb 3776 or 176x a kid 8166 of the goats, 5795 for a sin offering; 2403 and the priest 3548 shall make an atonement 3722 8765z for 5921x him concerning his sin. 2403 4480x

        5:7 And if 518x he 3027y be not 3808x able 1767y to bring 5060 8686z 3027x 1767x a lamb, 7716 then he shall bring 935 8689z 853x for 854y his trespass, 817 which 834x he hath committed, 2398 8804z two 8147 turtledoves, 8449 or 176x two 8147 young 1121 pigeons, 3123 unto the LORD; 3068 one 259 for a sin offering, 2403 and the other 259 for a burnt offering. 5930

        5:8 And he shall bring 935 8689z them unto 413x the priest, 3548 who shall offer 7126 8689z 853x [that] which 834x [is] for the sin offering 2403 first, 7223 and wring off 4454 8804z 853x his head 7218 from 4136 4480x his neck, 6203 but shall not 3808x divide [it] asunder: 914 8686z

        5:9 And he shall sprinkle 5137 8689z of the blood 1818 4480x of the sin offering 2403 upon 5921x the side 7023 of the altar; 4196 and the rest 7604 8737z of the blood 1818 shall be wrung out 4680 8735z at 413x the bottom 3247 of the altar: 4196 it 1931x [is] a sin offering. 2403

        5:10 And he shall offer 6213 8799z the second 8145 [for] a burnt offering, 5930 according to the manner: 4941 and the priest 3548 shall make an atonement 3722 8765z for 5921x him for his sin 2403 4480x which 834x he hath sinned, 2398 8804z and it shall be forgiven 5545 8738z him.

        5:11 ¶ But if 518x he 3027y be not 3808x able to bring 5381 8686z 3027x two 8147 turtledoves, 8449 or 176x two 8147 young 1121 pigeons, 3123 then he that 834x sinned 2398 8804z shall bring 935 8689z 853x for his offering 7133 the tenth 6224y part 6224x of an ephah 374 of fine flour 5560 for a sin offering; 2403 he shall put 7760 8799z no 3808x oil 8081 upon 5921x it, neither 3808x shall he put 5414 8799z [any] frankincense 3828 thereon: 5921x for 3588x it 1931x [is] a sin offering. 2403

        5:12 Then shall he bring 935 8689z it to 413x the priest, 3548 and the priest 3548 shall take 7061 8804z his handful 4393 7062 of 4480x it, [even] 853x a memorial 234 thereof, and burn 6999 8689z [it] on the altar, 4196 according to 5921x the offerings made by fire 801 unto the LORD: 3068 it 1931x [is] a sin offering. 2403

        5:13 And the priest 3548 shall make an atonement 3722 8765z for 5921x him as touching 5921x his sin 2403 that 834x he hath sinned 2398 8804z in one 259 4480x of these, 4480x 428x and it shall be forgiven 5545 8738z him: and [the remnant] shall be 1961x the priest's, 3548 as a meat offering. 4503

        5:14 ¶ And the LORD 3068 spake 1696 8762z unto 413x Moses, 4872 saying, 559 8800z

        5:15 If 3588x a soul 5315 commit 4603 8799z a trespass, 4604 and sin 2398 8804z through ignorance, 7684 in 4480x the holy things 6944 of the LORD; 3068 then he shall bring 935 8689z 853x for his trespass 817 unto the LORD 3068 a ram 352 without blemish 8549 out of 4480x the flocks, 6629 with thy estimation 6187 by shekels 8255 of silver, 3701 after the shekel 8255 of the sanctuary, 6944 for a trespass offering: 817

        5:16 And he shall make amends 7999 8762z for the harm 2398y 8804z that he hath done 834x 2398x in 4480x the holy thing, 6944 and shall add 3254 8686z the fifth part 2549 thereto, 5921x and give 5414 8804z it unto the priest: 3548 and the priest 3548 shall make an atonement 3722 8762z for 5921x him with the ram 352 of the trespass offering, 817 and it shall be forgiven 5545 8738z him.

        5:17 ¶ And if 518x a soul 5315 sin, 2398 8799z and commit 6213 8804z any 259 of these things 4480x 3605x which 834x are forbidden 3808x to be done 6213 8735z by the commandments 4687 of the LORD; 3068 though he wist 3045 8804z [it] not, 3808x yet is he guilty, 816 8804z and shall bear 5375 8804z his iniquity. 5771

        5:18 And he shall bring 935 8689z a ram 352 without blemish 8549 out of 4480x the flock, 6629 with thy estimation, 6187 for a trespass offering, 817 unto 413x the priest: 3548 and the priest 3548 shall make an atonement 3722 8765z for 5921x him concerning 5921x his ignorance 7684 wherein 834x he erred 7683 8804z and wist 3045 8804z [it] not, 3808x and it shall be forgiven 5545 8738z him.

        5:19 It 1931x [is] a trespass offering: 817 he hath certainly 816y 8800z trespassed 816 8804z against the LORD. 3068
