strive:
"And if¹ men² ¹ strive² ° together,¹ and oneª smiteª °¹ anotherª with a stone,ª orª with [his] fist,ª and he dieª ° not,¹ but keepethª ° [his] bed:ª" {Exd 21:18}

as the judges:
