{Leviticus 8:13} And Moses 4872 brought 7126 z8686 x853 Aaron's 175 sons, 1121 and put y3847 z8686 coats y3801 upon x3847 x3801 them, and girded 2296 z8799 them with girdles, 73 and put 2280 z8799 bonnets 4021 upon them; as x834 the LORD 3068 commanded 6680 z8765 x853 Moses. 4872
Moses:
"And for Aaron'sª sonsª thou shalt makeª° coats,ª and thou shalt makeª° for them girdles,ª and bonnetsª shalt thou makeª° for them, for gloryª and for beauty.ª ... And thou shalt put²° them uponª¹ Aaronª thy brother,ª and his sonsª with¹ him; and shalt anointª° them, and consecrateªª°¹ them, and sanctifyª° them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.ª°" {Exd 28:40-41} + "And thou shalt bringª° his sons,ª and put²° coats² upon¹¹ them. ... And thou shalt girdª° them with girdles,ª Aaronª and his sons,ª and putª° the bonnetsª on them: and the priest's officeª shall be¹ theirs for a perpetualª statute:ª and thou shalt consecrateªª° Aaronª and his sons.ª" {Exd 29:8-9} + "And thou shalt bringª° his sons,ª and clotheª° them with coats:ª ... And thou shalt anointª° them, as¹ thou didst anointª°¹ their father,ª that they may minister unto me in the priest's office:ª° for their anointing²¹ shall surely beª an everlastingª priesthoodª throughout their generations.ª" {Exd 40:14-15} + "Let thy priestsª be clothedª° with righteousness;ª and let thy saintsª shout for joy.ª°" {Psa 132:9} + "But ye¹ shall be namedª° the Priestsª of the LORD:ª [men] shall callª° you the Ministersª° of our God:ª ye shall eatª° the richesª of the Gentiles,ª and in their gloryª shall ye boast²° yourselves.¹" {Isa 61:6} + "I will greatly²° rejoiceª° in the LORD,ª my soulª shall be joyfulª° in my God;ª for¹ he hath clothedª° me with the garmentsª of salvation,ª he hath coveredª° me with the robeª of righteousness,ª as a bridegroomª deckethª° [himself] with ornaments,ª and as a brideª adornethª° [herself] with her jewels.ª" {Isa 61:10} + "Yeª also,ª asª livelyª° stones,ª are built upª° a spiritualª house,ª an holyª priesthood,ª to offer upª° spiritualª sacrifices,ª acceptableª to Godª byª Jesusª Christ.ª" {1Pe 2:5} + "Butª yeª [are] a chosenª generation,ª a royalª priesthood,ª an holyª nation,ª a peculiarªª people;ª thatª ye should shew forthª° the¹ praisesª of him¹ who hath calledª° youª out ofª darknessª intoª hisª marvellousª light:ª" {1Pe 2:9} + "Andª hath madeª° usª kingsª andª priestsª unto Godª andª his²¹ Father;ª to himª [be] gloryª andª dominionª for² ever² and ever.ª¹ Amen.ª" {Rev 1:6} + "Andª hast madeª° usª unto ourª Godª kingsª andª priests:ª andª we shall reignª° onª the¹ earth.ª" {Rev 5:10}
coats:
The kethoneth, or coat, was made of linen; but the form of it is no where described in Scripture, except in the visionary appearance of Christ to St. John, in the form and habit of a priest ("Andª inª the midstª of the¹ sevenª candlesticksª [one] like² unto¹ the Sonª of man,ª clothed with¹ a garment²° down to the foot,ª andª girt²° aboutª¹ the¹ papsª with a goldenª girdle.ª" {Rev 1:13}); where he is said to be ενδεδυμενος ποδηρη, "clothed with a garment down to the feet," which perfectly agrees with the description the Jewish writers give of it; who also say, that it had sleeves which came down to the wrist, and was tied about the neck; so that it was not unlike a long shirt. It was common to all the priests; but the tunic of the high priest was made of finer linen, or wove in a more curious manner ("And these¹ [are] the garmentsª which¹ they shall make;ª° a breastplate,ª and an ephod,ª and a robe,ª and a broideredª coat,ª a mitre,ª and a girdle:ª and they shall makeª° holyª garmentsª for Aaronª thy brother,ª and his sons,ª that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.ª°" {Exd 28:4}).

bonnets:
The migbaôth, or bonnets, are described by Josephus as being like helmets of linen, one wreath being plaited and folded over another and a thin cap, suited to its shape, put over all, to prevent its unfolding.
