{Leviticus 25:50} And he shall reckon 2803 z8765 with x5973 him that bought 7069 z8802 him from the year 8141 x4480 that he was sold 4376 z8736 to him unto x5704 the year 8141 of jubile: 3104 and the price 3701 of his sale 4465 shall be x1961 according unto the number 4557 of years, 8141 according to the time 3117 of an hired servant 7916 shall it be x1961 with x5973 him.

reckon:
"Then let him countª °¹ the yearsª of the saleª thereof, and restoreª °¹ the overplusª ° unto the manª to whom¹ he soldª ° it; that he may returnª ° unto his possession.ª" {Lev 25:27}

price of his sale:
This was a very equitable law, both to the sojourner to whom the man was sold, and to the Israelite who had been sold. The Israelite might redeem himself, or one of his kindred might redeem him; but this must not be done to the prejudice of his master. They were therefore to reckon the years he must have served, from that time till the jubilee; and then taking the current wages of a servant, per year, at that time, multiply the remaining years by that sum, and the aggregate was to be given to his master for his redemption. The Jews hold that the kindred of such a person were bound, if in their power, to redeem him, lest he should be swallowed up among the heathen; and we find ("And I saidª ° unto them, We¹ after our abilityª have redeemedª °¹ our brethrenª the Jews,ª which were soldª ° unto the heathen;ª and will ye¹ even¹ sellª °¹ your brethren?ª or shall they be soldª ° unto us? Then held they their peace,ª ° and foundª ° nothingª ¹ [to answer]." {Neh 5:8}) that this was done by the Jews on their return from the Babylonish captivity.

according to the time:
"[But] as an hired servant,ª [and] as a sojourner,ª he shall be¹ with¹ thee, [and] shall serveª °¹ thee unto¹ the yearª of jubile:ª" {Lev 25:40} + "[And] as a yearlyª hired servantª shall he be¹ with¹ him: [and the other] shall not¹ rule² ° with rigour² over¹ ¹ him in thy sight.ª" {Lev 25:53} + "It shall not¹ seem hard² ° unto thee,ª ¹ when thou sendest him awayª °¹ freeª from¹ ¹ thee; for¹ he hath been worthª a doubleª hired servantª [to thee], in servingª ° thee sixª years:ª and the LORDª thy Godª shall blessª ° thee in all¹ that¹ thou doest.ª °" {Deu 15:18} + "[Is there] not¹ an appointed timeª to manª upon¹ earth?ª [are not] his daysª also like the daysª of an hireling?ª ...
