as the LORD[YHWH]:
"And the kingª sware,ª ° and said,ª ° [As] the LORDª liveth,ª that¹ hath redeemedª °¹ my soulª out of all¹ ¹ distress,ª" {1Kg 1:29}

set me:
"And Solomonª said,ª ° Thou¹ hast shewedª ° unto¹ thy servantª Davidª my fatherª greatª mercy,ª according as¹ he walkedª ° beforeª thee in truth,ª and in righteousness,ª and in uprightnessª of heartª with¹ thee; and thou hast keptª ° for him¹ this¹ greatª kindness,ª that thou hast givenª ° him a sonª to sitª ° on¹ his throne,ª as [it is] this¹ day.ª ... And now,¹ O LORDª my God,ª thou¹ hast made¹ thy servantª kingª ° instead¹ of Davidª my father:ª and I¹ [am but] a littleª child:ª I knowª ° not¹ [how] to go outª ° or come in.ª °" {1Kg 3:6-7} + "Blessedª ° be¹ the LORDª thy God,ª which¹ delightedª ° in thee, to setª ° thee on¹ the throneª of Israel:ª because the LORDª loved² ¹ ¹ Israelª for ever,ª therefore madeª ° he thee king,ª to doª ° judgmentª and justice.ª" {1Kg 10:9} + "Then Solomonª sat¹ on² °¹ the throneª of the LORDª as kingª instead of¹ Davidª his father,ª and prospered;ª ° and all¹ Israelª obeyedª °¹ him." {1Ch 29:23} + "And Solomonª saidª ° unto God,ª Thou¹ hast shewedª ° greatª mercyª unto¹ Davidª my father,ª and hast made me to reignª ° in his stead.¹ ... made me:
"And it came to pass,¹ because¹ the midwivesª ° fearedª °¹ God,ª that he madeª ° them houses.ª" {Exd 1:21} + "I pray thee,¹ forgiveª ° the trespassª of thine handmaid:ª for¹ the LORDª will certainly² ° makeª ° my lordª a sureª ° house;ª because¹ my lordª fightethª ° the battlesª of the LORD,ª and evilª hath not¹ been foundª ° in thee [all] thy days.ª ¹" {1Sm 25:28} + "And as since¹ the timeª that¹ I commandedª ° judgesª ° [to be] over¹ my peopleª Israel,ª and have caused thee to restª ° from all¹ ¹ thine enemies.ª ° Also the LORDª tellethª ° thee that¹ he will makeª ° thee an house.ª ... as he promised:
"He¹ shall buildª ° an houseª for my name;ª and he¹ shall be¹ my son,ª and I¹ [will be] his father;ª and I will establishª ° the throneª of his kingdomª over¹ Israelª for² ever.ª ¹" {1Ch 22:10}

put:
"And Solomonª said,ª ° If¹ he will shew¹ himself a worthyª man,ª there shall not¹ an hair² of¹ ¹ him fallª ° to the earth:ª but if¹ wickednessª shall be foundª ° in him, he shall die.ª °" {1Kg 1:52} + "Because¹ sentence² against¹ an evilª workª is not¹ executedª ° speedily,ª therefore¹ ¹ the heartª of the sonsª of menª is fully setª ° in them to doª ° evil.ª ... But it shall not¹ be¹ wellª with the wicked,ª neither¹ shall he prolongª ° [his] days,ª [which are] as a shadow;ª because¹ he feareth² ¹ not¹ beforeª ¹ God.ª" {Ecc 8:11-13}
