a widow's son:
Heb. the son of a widow woman

tribe:
The mother of Hiram (not the Tyrian king mentioned before, but an intelligent coppersmith, of Jewish extraction by his mother's side) in Chronicles, is said to have been of "the daughters of Dan;" and she might have been of Naphtali by her father, and of Dan by her mother; or she might originally be of the tribe of Dan, and have been first married to a man of the tribe of Naphtali; and, in either case, she might be indifferently called "of the tribe of Naphtali," or of "the daughters of Dan."

Naphtali:
"The sonª of a womanª of¹ the daughtersª of Dan,ª and his fatherª [was] a manª of Tyre,ª skilfulª ° to workª ° in gold,ª and in silver,ª in brass,ª in iron,ª in stone,ª and in timber,ª in purple,ª in blue,ª and in fine linen,ª and in crimson;ª also to graveª ° any manner¹ of graving,ª and to find outª ° every¹ deviceª which¹ shall be putª ° to him, with¹ thy cunning men,ª and with the cunning menª of my lordª Davidª thy father.ª" {2Ch 2:14}

his father:
"The potsª also, and the shovels,ª and the fleshhooks,ª and all¹ their instruments,ª did Huramª his fatherª makeª ° to kingª Solomonª for the houseª of the LORDª of brightª ° brass.ª" {2Ch 4:16}

he was filled:
"See,ª ° I have calledª ° by nameª Bezaleelª the sonª of Uri,ª the sonª of Hur,ª of the tribeª of Judah:ª ... And I,¹ behold,¹ I have givenª ° with¹ him¹ Aholiab,ª the sonª of Ahisamach,ª of the tribeª of Dan:ª and in the heartsª of all¹ that are wiseª heartedª I have putª ° wisdom,ª that they may makeª °¹ all¹ that¹ I have commandedª ° thee;" {Exd 31:2-6} + "And Mosesª saidª ° unto¹ the childrenª of Israel,ª See,ª ° the LORDª hath calledª ° by nameª Bezaleelª the sonª of Uri,ª the sonª of Hur,ª of the tribeª of Judah;ª ...
