let these my words:
This and the following verse are a sort of supplement to the prayer; and there is an important addition to this prayer in "Now¹ therefore arise,ª ° O LORDª God,ª into thy resting² place,¹ thou,¹ and the arkª of thy strength:ª let thy priests,ª O LORDª God,ª be clothedª ° with salvation,ª and let thy saintsª rejoiceª ° in goodness.ª ... O LORDª God,ª turn not awayª °¹ the faceª of thine anointed:ª rememberª ° the merciesª of Davidª thy servant.ª" {2Ch 6:41-42}, apparently taken from one of the Psalms.
