- Jeroboam the son of Nebat:
- "And Jeroboamª the sonª of Nebat,ª an Ephrathiteª of¹ Zereda,ª Solomon'sª servant,ª whose mother'sª nameª [was] Zeruah,ª a widowª woman,ª even he lifted upª° [his] handª against the king.ª ... And he saidª° to Jeroboam,ª Takeª° thee tenª pieces:ª for¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORD,ª the Godª of Israel,ª Behold,¹ I will rendª°¹ the kingdomª out of the handª¹ of Solomon,ª and will giveª°¹ tenª tribesª to thee:" {1Kg 11:26-31} + "Solomonª soughtª° therefore to killª°¹ Jeroboam.ª And Jeroboamª arose,ª° and fledª° into Egypt,ª unto¹ Shishakª kingª of Egypt,ª and was¹ in Egyptª until¹ the deathª of Solomon.ª" {1Kg 11:40} + "And it came to pass,¹ when Jeroboamª the sonª of Nebat,ª who¹ [was] in Egypt,ª whither¹ he had fledª° from the presenceª¹ of Solomonª the king,ª heardª° [it], that Jeroboamª returnedª° out of Egypt.ª¹ ...
