- gave the money:
- "And let them deliverª° it into¹ the handª of the doersª° of the work,ª that have the oversightª° of the houseª of the LORD:ª and let them giveª° it to the doersª° of the workª which¹ [is] in the houseª of the LORD,ª to repairª° the breachesª of the house,ª ... Unto carpenters,ª and builders,ª° and masons,ª° and to buyª° timberª and hewnª stoneª to repairª°¹ the house.ª" {2Kg 22:5-6} + "Now it came to pass,¹ that at what timeª¹ the chestª was broughtª° unto¹ the king'sª officeª by the handª of the Levites,ª and when they sawª° that¹ [there was] muchª money,ª the king'sª scribeª° and the highª priest'sª officerª cameª° and emptiedª°¹ the chest,ª and tookª° it, and carriedª° it to¹ his placeª again.²° Thus¹ they didª° dayª by day,ª and gatheredª° moneyª in abundance.ª ...
