i.e. the disquiet, [Strong's H2190]. "The childrenª of Ezerª [are] these;¹ Bilhan,ª and Zaavan,ª and Akan.ª" {Gen 36:27}; The former of these is the same in the original, זעון [Strong's H2190], Zauvan, and the latter, יעקן, is an error for ועקן, weakan, "and Achan." Jakan:
i.e. let him oppress them, [Strong's H3292]. Uz. "And the childrenª of Aram;ª Uz,ª and Hul,ª and Gether,ª and Mash.ª" {Gen 10:23} + "The childrenª of Dishanª [are] these;¹ Uz,ª and Aran.ª" {Gen 36:28} + "Rejoiceª° and be glad,ª° O daughterª of Edom,ª that dwellestª° in the landª of Uz;ª the cupª also¹ shall pass²° through¹ unto¹ thee: thou shalt be drunken,ª° and shalt make thyself naked.ª°" {Lam 4:21}
