{1 Chronicles 6:57} And to the sons 1121 of Aaron 175 they gave 5414 z8804 x853 the cities 5892 of Judah, x3063 [namely], x853 Hebron, 2275 [the city] of refuge, 4733 and Libnah 3841 with her suburbs, 4054 and Jattir, 3492 and Eshtemoa, 851 with their suburbs, 4054

they gave:
"And he enquiredª ° of the LORDª for him, and gaveª ° him victuals,ª and gaveª ° him the swordª of Goliathª the Philistine.ª" {1Sm 22:10} + "And next¹ ¹ him [were] Eden,ª and Miniamin,ª and Jeshua,ª and Shemaiah,ª Amariah,ª and Shecaniah,ª in the citiesª of the priests,ª in [their] set office,ª to giveª ° to their brethrenª by² courses,ª as well to the greatª as to the small:ª" {2Ch 31:15}

the city of refuge:
"And of these citiesª which¹ ye shall giveª ° sixª citiesª shall ye have¹ for refuge.ª ... These¹ sixª citiesª shall be¹ a refuge,ª [both] for the childrenª of Israel,ª and for the stranger,ª and for the sojournerª amongª them: that every one¹ that killethª ° any personª unawaresª may fleeª ° thither.¹" {Num 35:13-15} + "And they appointedª °¹ Kedeshª in Galileeª in mountª Naphtali,ª and Shechemª in mountª Ephraim,ª and Kirjatharba,ª which¹ [is] Hebron,ª in the mountainª of Judah.ª ... These¹ were¹ the citiesª appointedª for all¹ the childrenª of Israel,ª and for the strangerª that sojournethª ° amongª them, that whosoever¹ killethª ° [any] personª at unawaresª might fleeª ° thither,¹ and not¹ dieª ° by the handª of the avengerª ° of blood,ª until¹ he stoodª ° beforeª the congregation.ª" {Jsh 20:7-9}

Libnah:
"Then Joshuaª passedª ° from Makkedah,ª ¹ and all¹ Israelª with¹ him, unto Libnah,ª and foughtª ° against¹ Libnah:ª" {Jsh 10:29} + "Libnah,ª and Ether,ª and Ashan,ª" {Jsh 15:42} + "Thus they gaveª ° to the childrenª of Aaronª the priestª ¹ Hebronª with¹ her suburbs,ª [to be]¹ a cityª of refugeª for the slayer;ª ° and Libnahª with¹ her suburbs,ª ... And Jattirª with¹ her suburbs,ª and Eshtemoaª with¹ her suburbs,ª" {Jsh 21:13-14}

Jattir:
"And the sonsª of Ezraª [were], Jether,ª and Mered,ª and Epher,ª and Jalon:ª and she bareª °¹ Miriam,ª and Shammai,ª and Ishbahª the fatherª of Eshtemoa.ª" {1Ch 4:17} + "And in the mountains,ª Shamir,ª and Jattir,ª and Socoh,ª" {Jsh 15:48}
