David:
"And the kingª and his men² ¹ went² °¹ to Jerusalemª unto¹ the Jebusites,ª the inhabitantsª ° of the land:ª which spakeª ° unto David,ª saying,ª ° Except¹ ¹ thou take awayª ° the blindª and the lame,ª thou shalt not¹ come inª ° hither:¹ thinking,ª ° Davidª cannot¹ come inª ° hither.¹ ... And Davidª went² ° on,ª ° and grew great,ª and the LORDª Godª of hostsª [was] with¹ him." {2Sm 5:6-10}

Jebus:
