the city of David:
that is, Zion, "And the inhabitantsª ° of Jebusª saidª ° to David,ª Thou shalt not¹ comeª ° hither.¹ Nevertheless Davidª tookª °¹ the castleª of Zion,ª which¹ [is] the cityª of David.ª" {1Ch 11:5} + "Nevertheless Davidª tookª °¹ the strong holdª of Zion:ª the same¹ [is] the cityª of David.ª" {2Sm 5:7}
