song:
Heb. lifting up, "And Davidª spakeª ° to the chiefª of the Levitesª to appointª °¹ their brethrenª [to be] the singersª ° with instrumentsª of musick,ª psalteriesª and harpsª and cymbals,ª sounding,ª ° by lifting upª ° the voiceª with joy.ª" {1Ch 15:16} + "And Davidª [was] clothedª ° with a robeª of fine linen,ª and all¹ the Levitesª that bareª °¹ the ark,ª and the singers,ª ° and Chenaniahª the masterª of the songª with the singers:ª ° Davidª also [had] upon him an ephodª of linen.ª" {1Ch 15:27}

he instructed:
