they burn:
"Behold,¹ I¹ buildª° an houseª to the nameª of the LORDª my God,ª to dedicateª° [it] to him, [and] to burnª° beforeª him sweetª incense,ª and for the continualª shewbread,ª and for the burnt offeringsª morningª and evening,ª on the sabbaths,ª and on the new moons,ª and on the solemn feastsª of the LORDª our God.ª This¹ [is an ordinance] for everª to¹ Israel.ª" {2Ch 2:4} + "Now this¹ [is that] which¹ thou shalt offerª° upon¹ the altar;ª twoª lambsª of the firstª yearª day² by dayª continually.ª" {Exd 29:38}
sweet incense:

showbread:
