{2 Chronicles 34:14} And when they brought out 3318 z8687 x853 the money 3701 that was brought into 935 z8716 the house 1004 of the LORD, 3068 Hilkiah 2518 the priest 3548 found 4672 z8804 x853 a book 5612 of the law 8451 of the LORD 3068 [given] by 3027 Moses. 4872

Hilkiah:
"And Hilkiahª the highª priestª saidª ° unto¹ Shaphanª the scribe,ª ° I have foundª ° the bookª of the lawª in the houseª of the LORD.ª And Hilkiahª gaveª °¹ the bookª to¹ Shaphan,ª and he readª ° it. ... Behold¹ therefore,¹ I will gatherª ° thee unto¹ thy fathers,ª and thou shalt be gatheredª ° into¹ thy graveª in peace;ª and thine eyesª shall not¹ seeª ° all¹ the evilª which¹ I¹ will bringª ° upon¹ this¹ place.ª And they broughtª °¹ the kingª wordª again.² °" {2Kg 22:8-20} + "And it came to pass,¹ when Mosesª had made an endª ° of writingª °¹ the wordsª of this¹ lawª in¹ a book,ª until¹ they were finished,ª ° ... a book:
Literally, "a book of the law of the Lord, by the hand of Moses," i.e, as Dr. Kennicott understands it, "in the handwriting of Moses;" for, says he, though there are fifteen places in the Old Testament which mention the "Law of Moses," and "book of Moses," yet this one place only mentions "the book of the law in, or by, the hand of Moses."

the law:
