captain:
"Moreover thou¹ shalt provideª° out of all¹¹ the peopleª ableª men,²¹ such as fearª God,ª men²¹ of truth,ª hatingª° covetousness;ª and placeª° [such] over¹ them, [to be] rulersª of thousands,ª [and] rulersª of hundreds,ª rulersª of fifties,ª and rulersª of tens:ª" {Exd 18:21} + "So I tookª°¹ the chiefª of your tribes,ª wiseª men,²¹ and known,ª° and madeª° them headsª over¹ you, captainsª over thousands,ª and captainsª over hundreds,ª and captainsª over fifties,ª and captainsª over tens,ª and officersª° among your tribes.ª" {Deu 1:15} + "And he will appointª° him captainsª over thousands,ª and captainsª over fifties;ª and [will set them] to earª° his ground,ª and to reapª° his harvest,ª and to makeª° his instrumentsª of war,ª and instrumentsª of his chariots.ª" {1Sm 8:12}

eloquent orator:
