refuseth:
"And he madeª ° twoª chapitersª [of] moltenª ° brass,ª to setª ° upon¹ the topsª of the pillars:ª the heightª of the oneª chapiterª [was] fiveª cubits,ª and the heightª of the otherª chapiterª [was] fiveª cubits:ª" {1Kg 7:16} + "And now¹ ye¹ thinkª ° to withstandª ° the kingdomª ² of the LORDª in the handª of the sonsª of David;ª and ye¹ [be] a greatª multitude,ª and [there are] with¹ you goldenª calves,ª which¹ Jeroboamª madeª ° you for gods.ª ... Thus the childrenª of Israelª were brought² ° under¹ at that¹ time,ª and the childrenª of Judahª prevailed,ª ° because¹ they reliedª ° upon¹ the LORDª Godª of their fathers.ª" {2Ch 13:8-18}

"But the gateª of the fountainª repairedª ° Shallunª the sonª of Colhozeh,ª the rulerª of partª of Mizpah;ª he¹ builtª ° it, and coveredª ° it, and set upª ° the doorsª thereof, the locksª thereof, and the barsª thereof, and the wallª of the poolª of Siloahª by the king'sª garden,ª and unto¹ the stairsª that go downª ° from the cityª ¹ of David.ª" {Neh 3:15} + "Andª saidª ° unto him,ª Go,ª ° washª ° inª the¹ poolª of Siloam,ª (whichª is by interpretation,ª ° Sent.)ª ° He went his wayª ° therefore,ª andª washed,ª ° andª cameª ° seeing.ª °" {Jhn 9:7}, Siloam

that go softly:
"For¹ my peopleª have committedª ° twoª evils;ª they have forsakenª ° me the fountainª of livingª waters,ª [and] hewed them outª ° cisterns,ª brokenª ° cisterns,ª that¹ can holdª ° no¹ water.ª" {Jer 2:13} + "And now¹ what¹ hast thou to do in the wayª of Egypt,ª to drinkª ° the watersª of Sihor?ª or what¹ hast thou to do in the wayª of Assyria,ª to drinkª ° the watersª of the river?ª" {Jer 2:18} + "Will [a man] leaveª ° the snowª of Lebanonª [which cometh] from the rockª ¹ of the field?ª [or] shall the coldª flowingª ° watersª that come from another placeª ° be forsaken?ª °" {Jer 18:14}

rejoice:
"And it came to pass¹ in the daysª of Ahazª the sonª of Jotham,ª the sonª of Uzziah,ª kingª of Judah,ª [that] Rezinª the kingª of Syria,ª and Pekahª the sonª of Remaliah,ª kingª of Israel,ª went upª ° toward Jerusalemª to warª against¹ it, but couldª ° not¹ prevailª ° against¹ it. ...
