Tyre shall:
"Behold,¹ I will sendª° and takeª°¹ all¹ the familiesª of the north,ª saithª° the LORD,ª and Nebuchadrezzarª the kingª of Babylon,ª my servant,ª and will bringª° them against¹ this¹ land,ª and against¹ the inhabitantsª° thereof, and against¹ all¹ these¹ nationsª round about,ª and will utterly destroyª° them, and makeª° them an astonishment,ª and an hissing,ª and perpetualª desolations.ª ... And this¹ whole¹ landª shall be¹ a desolation,ª [and] an astonishment;ª and these¹ nationsª shall serveª°¹ the kingª of Babylonª seventyª years.ª" {Jer 25:9-11} + "And all¹ the kingsª of Tyrus,ª and all¹ the kingsª of Zidon,ª and the kingsª of the islesª which¹ [are] beyondª the sea,ª" {Jer 25:22} + "And sendª° them to¹ the kingª of Edom,ª and to¹ the kingª of Moab,ª and to¹ the kingª of the Ammonites,ªª and to¹ the kingª of Tyrus,ª and to the kingª of Zidon,ª by the handª of the messengersª which comeª° to Jerusalemª unto¹ Zedekiahª kingª of Judah;ª ... shall Tyre sing as an harlot:
Heb. it shall be unto Tyre as the song of an harlot, "The shipsª of Tarshishª did singª° of thee in thy market:ª and thou wast replenished,ª° and made very² gloriousª°¹ in the midstª of the seas.ª" {Ezk 27:25} + "And I will giveª° her¹ her vineyardsª from thence,¹¹ and the valleyª of Achorª for a doorª of hope:ª and she shall singª° there,¹ as in the daysª of her youth,ª and as in the dayª when she came upª° out of the landª¹ of Egypt.ª" {Hsa 2:15}
