they rebelled:

they did:

And they rose up earlyª ° on the morrow,ª ¹ and offeredª ° burnt offerings,ª and broughtª ° peace offerings;ª and the peopleª sat² ° down¹ to eatª ° and to drink,ª ° and rose upª ° to play.ª °" {Exd 32:4-6}

then I:
