"My sheepª wanderedª° through all¹ the mountains,ª and upon¹ every¹ highª° hill:ª yea, my flockª was scatteredª° upon¹ all¹ the faceª of the earth,ª and none¹ did searchª° or seekª° [after them]." {Ezk 34:6} + "And it came to pass¹ in the twelfthªª yearª of our captivity,ª in the tenthª [month], in the fifthª [day] of the month,ª [that] one that had escapedª out of Jerusalemª¹ cameª° unto¹ me, saying,ª° The cityª is smitten.ª°" {Ezk 33:21} + "For I will layª°¹ the landª most² desolate,ª¹ and the pompª of her strengthª shall cease;ª° and the mountainsª of Israelª shall be desolate,ª° that none¹¹ shall pass through.ª°" {Ezk 33:28} + "And he said,ª° I sawª°¹ all¹ Israelª scatteredª° upon¹ the hills,ª as sheepª that¹ have not¹ a shepherd:ª° and the LORDª said,ª° These¹ have no¹ master:ª let them returnª° every manª to his houseª in peace.ª" {1Kg 22:17} + "Then he said,ª° I did seeª°¹ all¹ Israelª scatteredª° upon¹ the mountains,ª as sheepª that¹ have no¹ shepherd:ª° and the LORDª said,ª° These¹ have no¹ master;ª let them returnª° [therefore] every manª to his houseª in peace.ª" {2Ch 18:16} + "Therefore¹ thus¹ saithª° the LORDª Godª of Israelª against¹ the pastorsª° that feedª°¹ my people;ª Ye¹ have scatteredª°¹ my flock,ª and driven them away,ª° and have not¹ visitedª° them: behold,¹ I will visitª° upon¹ you¹ the evilª of your doings,ª saithª° the LORD.ª" {Jer 23:2} + "My peopleª hath been¹ lostª° sheep:ª their shepherdsª° have caused them to go astray,ª° they have turned them awayª°°² [on] the mountains:ª they have goneª° from mountainª¹ to¹ hill,ª they have forgottenª° their restingplace.ª" {Jer 50:6} + "Israelª [is] a scatteredª° sheep;ª the lionsª have driven [him] away:ª° firstª the kingª of Assyriaª hath devouredª° him; and lastª this¹ Nebuchadrezzarª kingª of Babylonª hath broken his bones.ª°" {Jer 50:17} + "Awake,ª° O sword,ª against¹ my shepherd,ª° and against¹ the manª [that is] my fellow,ª saithª° the LORDª of hosts:ª smiteª°¹ the shepherd,ª° and the sheepª shall be scattered:ª° and I will turnª° mine handª upon¹ the little ones.ª°" {Zch 13:7} + "Butª when he sawª° the¹ multitudes,ª he was moved with compassionª° onª them,ª becauseª they fainted,ªª°° andª were scattered abroad,ª° asª sheepª havingª° noª shepherd.ª" {Mtt 9:36}
