{Ezekiel 41:22} The altar 4196 of wood 6086 [was] three 7969 cubits 520 high, 1364 and the length 753 thereof two 8147 cubits; 520 and the corners 4740 thereof, and the length 753 thereof, and the walls 7023 thereof, [were] of wood: 6086 and he said 1696 z8762 unto x413 me, This x2088 [is] the table 7979 that x834 [is] before 6440 the LORD. 3068

altar:
This must signify the altar of incense; which, both in the tabernacle and Solomon's temple, was covered with plates of gold. It is very remarkable, that in this temple described by Ezekiel, there is not the least mention of gold or silver, though there was such a profusion of these metals in the former; which may probably imply, that a glory of a more spiritual nature was intended under these emblems. "And thou shalt makeª ° an altarª to burnª incenseª upon: [of] shittimª woodª shalt thou makeª ° it. ...
