These seems to have been two rows of these chambers, and a walk between of ten cubits in width; with an entrance into it from the chambers, of one cubit in width.
a walk:
"And the wayª beforeª them [was] like the appearanceª of the chambersª which¹ [were] towardª the north,ª as long¹ as² they, [and] as¹ broad¹ as²² they: and all¹ their goings outª [were] both according to their fashions,ª and according to their doors.ª" {Ezk 42:11}
a way:
