In the first month:
This seems to enjoin, not a mere dedication, but an annual purification of the sanctuary; of which there is nothing said in the Mosaic law. "This¹ monthª [shall be] unto you the beginningª of months:ª it¹ [shall be] the firstª monthª of the yearª to you." {Exd 12:2} + "And in the beginningsª of your monthsª ye shall offerª° a burnt offeringª unto the LORD;ª twoª youngª¹ bullocks,ª and oneª ram,ª sevenª lambsª of the firstª yearª without spot;ª ... And oneª kidª of the goatsª for a sin offeringª unto the LORDª shall be offered,ª° beside¹ the continualª burnt offering,ª and his drink offering.ª" {Num 28:11-15} + "Butª seek¹ ye²° firstª the¹ kingdomª of God,ª andª hisª righteousness;ª andª allª these thingsª shall be addedª° unto you.ª" {Mtt 6:33}
without blemish:
