"For they shall eat,ª ° and not¹ have enough:ª ° they shall commit whoredom,ª ° and shall not¹ increase:ª ° because¹ they have left offª ° to take heedª °¹ to the LORD.ª" {Hsa 4:10} + "Hearª ° ye this,¹ O priests;ª and hearken,ª ° ye houseª of Israel;ª and give ye ear,ª ° O houseª of the king;ª for¹ judgmentª [is] toward you, because¹ ye have been¹ a snareª on Mizpah,ª and a netª spreadª ° upon¹ Tabor.ª" {Hsa 5:1} + "And as troops² of robbers¹ waitª ° for a man,ª [so] the companyª of priestsª murderª ° in the wayª by consent:ª °² for¹ they commitª ° lewdness.ª" {Hsa 6:9} + "According to their pasture,ª so were they filled;ª ° they were filled,ª ° and their heartª was exalted;ª ° therefore¹ ¹ have they forgottenª ° me." {Hsa 13:6} + "I will ransomª ° them from the powerª ¹ of the grave;ª I will redeemª ° them from death:ª ¹ O death,ª I will² be¹ thy plagues;ª O grave,ª I will² be¹ thy destruction:ª repentanceª shall be hidª ° from mine eyes.ª ¹" {Hsa 13:14} + "Since the daysª ¹ of our fathersª [have] we¹ [been] in a greatª trespassª unto¹ this¹ day;ª and for our iniquitiesª have we,¹ our kings,ª [and] our priests,ª been deliveredª ° into the handª of the kingsª of the lands,ª to the sword,ª to captivity,ª and to a spoil,ª and to confusionª of face,ª as [it is] this¹ day.ª" {Ezr 9:7}
