Cross Reference AMOS 3:15 AND I WILL SMITE THE WINTER HOUSE WITH THE SUMMER HOUSE AND THE HOUSES OF IVORY SHALL PERISH AND THE GREAT HOUSES SHALL HAVE AN END SAITH THE LORD

{Amos 3:15} And I will smite 5221 z8689 the winter 2779 house 1004 with x5921 the summer 7019 house; 1004 and the houses 1004 of ivory 8127 shall perish, 6 z8804 and the great 7227 houses 1004 shall have an end, 5486 z8804 saith 5002 z8803 the LORD. 3068

the winter:
"Now the kingª satª ° in the winterhouseª ª in the ninthª month:ª and [there was a fire] on the hearthª burningª ° beforeª him." {Jer 36:22}

the summer:
"And Ehud² ¹ cameª ° unto¹ him; and he¹ was sittingª ° in a summerª parlour,ª which¹ he had for himself alone.¹ And Ehud² ¹ said,ª ° I have a messageª from Godª unto¹ thee. And he aroseª ° out of¹ ¹ [his] seat.ª" {Jdg 3:20}

the houses:
"Now the restª of the actsª of Ahab,ª and all¹ that¹ he did,ª ° and the ivoryª houseª which¹ he made,ª ° and all¹ the citiesª that¹ he built,ª ° [are] they¹ not¹ writtenª ° in¹ the bookª of the chroniclesª ª of the kingsª of Israel?ª" {1Kg 22:39}

the great:
