And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, Jehovah hath restrained me from bearing; go in, I pray thee, unto my handmaid; it may be that I shall obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

And Saraiª saidª° unto¹ Abram,ª Behold¹ now,¹ the LORDª hath restrained¹ me²° from bearing:ª°¹ I pray thee,¹ go inª° unto¹ my maid;ª it may² be¹ that I may obtain childrenª° by¹ her. And Abramª hearkenedª° to the voiceª of Sarai.ª

And Saraiª saidª° vnto¹ Abram,ª Behold¹ now,¹ the LORDª hath restrained¹ me²° from bearing:ª°¹ I pray thee¹ go inª° vnto¹ my maid:ª it may² bee¹ that I may obtaine childrenª° by¹ her: and Abramª hearkenedª° to the voiceª of Sarai.ª

And Sarai{gr.Sara} said to Abram, Behold, the Lord has restrained me from bearing, go therefore in to my maid, that I may get children for myself through her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai{gr.Sara}.

And Ŝäray שָׂרַיª saidª° unto¹ ´Avräm אַברָם,ª Behold¹ now,¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª hath restrained¹ me²° from bearing:ª°¹ I pray thee,¹ go inª° unto¹ my maid;ª it may² be¹ that I may obtain childrenª° by¹ her. And ´Avräm אַברָםª hearkenedª° to the voiceª of Ŝäray שָׂרַי.ª
