And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink. And she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also. Let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac. And thereby shall I know that thou hast showed kindness unto my master.

And let it come to pass,¹ that the damselª to whom¹ I shall say,ª°¹ Let downª° thy pitcher,ª I pray thee,¹ that I may drink;ª° and she shall say,ª° Drink,ª° and I will give²° thy camelsª drinkª° also:¹ [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointedª° for thy servantª Isaac;ª and thereby shall I knowª° that¹ thou hast shewedª° kindnessª unto¹ my master.ª

And let it come to passe,¹ that the damsellª to whom¹ I shall say,ª°¹ Let downeª° thy pitcher,ª I pray thee,¹ that I may drinke,ª° and she shall say,ª° Drinke,ª° and I will giue²° thy camelsª drinkeª° also;¹ let the same be shee that thou hast appointedª° for thy seruantª Isaac:ª and thereby shall I knowª° that¹ thou hast shewedª° kindnesseª vnto¹ my master.ª

And it shall be, the virgin to whomsoever I shall say, Incline thy water-pot, that I may drink, and she shall say, Drink thou, and I will give thy camels drink, until they shall have done drinking-- even this one thou hast prepared for thy servant Isaac, and hereby shall I know that thou hast dealt mercifully with my master Abraham{gr.Abraam}.

And let it come to pass,¹ that the damselª to whom¹ I shall say,ª°¹ Let downª° thy pitcher,ª I pray thee,¹ that I may drink;ª° and she shall say,ª° Drink,ª° and I will give²° thy camelsª drinkª° also:¹ [let the same be] she [that] thou hast appointedª° for thy servantª Yixçäk יִצחָק;ª and thereby shall I knowª° that¹ thou hast shewedª° kindnessª unto¹ my ´áđôn אֲדוֹן.ª
