And Moses besought Jehovah his God, and said, Jehovah, why doth thy wrath wax hot against thy people, that thou hast brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power and with a mighty hand?

And Möšè מֹשֶׁהª besoughtª°²¹ Yähwè יָהוֶהª his ´Élöhîm אֱלֹהִים,ª and said,ª° Yähwè יָהוֶה,ª why¹ doth thy wrathª wax hotª° against thy people,ª which¹ thou hast brought forthª° out of the landª¹ of Mixrayim מִצרַיִםª with greatª power,ª and with a mightyª hand?ª
