And it shall be a statute for ever unto you: in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and shall do no manner of work, the home-born, or the stranger that sojourneth among you:

And [this] shall be¹ a statuteª for everª unto you: [that] in the seventhª month,ª on the tenthª [day] of the month,ª ye shall afflictª°¹ your souls,ª and doª° no¹ workª at all,¹ [whether it be] one of your own country,ª or a strangerª that sojournethª° amongª you:

And this shall be¹ a statuteª for euerª vnto you: that in the seuenthª moneth,ª on the tenthª day of the moneth,ª ye shall afflictª°¹ your soules,ª & doeª° no¹ workeª at all,¹ whether it bee one of your owne countrey,ª or a strangerª that soiournethª° amongª you.
