But the soul that doeth aught with a high hand, whether he be home-born or a sojourner, the same blasphemeth Jehovah; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

But the soulª that¹ doethª° [ought] presumptuously,ªª° [whether he be] born in the land,ª¹ or a stranger,ª² the same¹ reproachethª°¹ the LORD;ª and that¹ soulª shall be cut offª° from amongª¹ his people.ª

And whatever soul either of the natives or of the strangers shall do any thing with a presumptuous hand, he will provoke God; that soul shall be cut off from his people,
