And Jehovah said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a standard: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he seeth it, shall live.

And the LORDª saidª° unto¹ Moses,ª Makeª° thee a fiery serpent,ª and setª° it upon¹ a pole:ª and it shall come to pass,¹ that every one¹ that is bitten,ª° when he looketh²° upon¹ it, shall live.ª°

And the LORDª saidª° vnto¹ Moses,ª Makeª° thee a fierie serpent,ª and setª° it vpon¹ a pole:ª and it shall come to passe,¹ that euery one¹ that is bitten,ª° when hee looketh²° vpon¹ it, shall liue.ª°

And Mosheh{gr.Moses} prayed to the Lord for the people; and the Lord said to Mosheh{gr.Moses}, Make thee a serpent, and put it on a signal-[staff]; and it shall come to pass that whenever a serpent shall bite a man, every one [so] bitten that looks upon it shall live.
