And Jehovah said unto me, Vex not Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give thee of his land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.

And the LORDª saidª° unto¹ me, Distressª° not¹¹ the Moabites,ª neither¹ contendª° with them in battle:ª for¹ I will not¹ giveª° thee of their landª¹ [for] a possession;ª because¹ I have givenª°¹ Arª unto the childrenª of Lotª [for] a possession.ª

And the LORDª saidª° vnto¹ mee, Distresseª° not¹¹ the Moabites,ª neither¹ contendª° with them in battell:ª for¹ I wil not¹ giueª° thee of their landª¹ for a possession,ª because¹ I haue giuenª°¹ Arª vnto the childrenª of Lotª for a possession.ª

And the Lord said to me, Do not ye quarrel with the Moabites, and do not engage in war with them; for I will not give you of their land for an inheritance, for I have given Aroer to the children of Lot to inherit.
