Nevertheless Jehovah thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but Jehovah thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.

Neuerthelesse, the LORDª thy Godª wouldª° not¹ hearkenª° vnto¹ Balaam:ª but the LORDª thy Godª turnedª°¹ the curseª into a blessingª vnto thee, because¹ the LORDª thy Godª louedª° thee.

But the Lord thy God would not hearken to Balaam; and the Lord thy God changed the curses into blessings, because the Lord thy God loved thee.
