And it came to pass, when all the kings that were beyond the Jordan, in the hill-country, and in the lowland, and on all the shore of the great sea in front of Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof;

And it came to pass,¹ when all¹ the kingsª which¹ [were] on this sideª Jordan,ª in the hills,ª and in the valleys,ª and in all¹ the coastsª of the greatª seaª over¹ againstª Lebanon,ª the Hittite,ª and the Amorite,ª the Canaanite,ª the Perizzite,ª the Hivite,ª and the Jebusite,ª heardª° [thereof];

And it came to passe¹ when all¹ the kingsª which¹ were on this sideª Iordanª in the hilles,ª and in the valleys,ª and in all¹ the coastsª of the greatª sea,ª ouer¹ againstª Lebanon,ª the Hittite,ª and the Amorite,ª the Canaanite,ª the Perizzite,ª the Hiuite,ª and the Iebusiteª heardª° [thereof]:

And when the kings of the Amorites on the other side of Jordan, who were in the mountain country, and in the plain, and in all the coast of the great sea, and those who were near Antilibanus, and the Hittites{gr.Chettites}, and the Canaanites{gr.Chananites}, and the Perizzites{gr.Pherezites}, and the Hivites{gr.Evites}, and the Amorites, and the Girgashites{gr.Gergesites}, and the Jebusites, heard [of it],

And it came to pass,¹ when all¹ the kingsª which¹ [were] on this sideª Yardën יַרדֵּן,ª in the hills,ª and in the valleys,ª and in all¹ the coastsª of the greatª seaª over¹ againstª Lævänôn לְבָנוֹן,ª the Çittî חִתִּי,ª and the ´Émörî אֱמֹרִי,ª the Cæna`ánî כְּנַעֲנִי,ª the Pærizzî פְּרִזִּי,ª the Çiwwî חִוִּי,ª and the Yævûsî יְבוּסִי,ª heardª° [thereof];
