And Abimelech gat him up to mount Zalmon, he and all the people that were with him; and Abimelech took an axe in his hand, and cut down a bough from the trees, and took it up, and laid it on his shoulder: and he said unto the people that were with him, What ye have seen me do, make haste, and do as I have done.

And Abimelechª gat him upª° to mountª Zalmon,ª he¹ and all¹ the peopleª that¹ [were] with¹ him; and Abimelechª tookª°¹ an axeª in his hand,ª and cut downª° a boughª from the trees,ª and tookª° it, and laidª° [it] on¹ his shoulder,ª and saidª° unto¹ the peopleª that¹ [were] with¹ him, What¹ ye have seenª° me do,ª° make haste,ª° [and] doª° as Iª [have done].
