And Gilead's wife bare him sons; and when his wife's sons grew up, they drove out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of another woman.

And Gilead'sª wifeª bareª° him sons;ª and his wife'sª sonsª grew up,ª° and they thrust outª°¹ Jephthah,ª and saidª° unto him, Thou shalt not¹ inheritª° in our father'sª house;ª for¹ thou¹ [art] the sonª of a strangeª woman.ª
