And he smote them from Aroer until thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto Abelcheramim, with a very great slaughter. So the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel.

And he smoteª° them from Aroer,ª¹ even till¹ thou comeª° to Minnith,ª [even] twentyª cities,ª and unto¹ the plainª of the vineyards,ª°² with a veryª greatª slaughter.ª Thus the childrenª of Ammonª were subduedª° beforeª¹ the childrenª of Israel.ª

And he smote them from Aroer till [one] comes to Arnon, in number twenty cities, and as far as Ebelcharmim, with a very great destruction: and the children of Ammon were straitened before the children of Israel.

And he smoteª° them from `Árö`ër עֲרֹעֵר,ª¹ even till¹ thou comeª° to Minnîŧ מִנִּית,ª [even] twentyª cities,ª and unto¹ the plainª of the vineyards,ª°² with a veryª greatª slaughter.ª Thus the childrenª of `Ammôn עַמּוֹןª were subduedª° beforeª¹ the childrenª of Yiŝrä´ël יִשׂרָאֵל.ª
