Then his father and his mother said unto him, Is there never a woman among the daughters of thy brethren, or among all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson said unto his father, Get her for me; for she pleaseth me well.

Then his fatherª and his motherª saidª° unto him, [Is there] neverª a womanª among the daughtersª of thy brethren,ª or among all¹ my people,ª that¹ thou¹ goestª° to takeª° a wifeª of the uncircumcisedª Philistines?ª¹ And Samsonª saidª° unto¹ his father,ª Getª° her for me; for¹ she¹ pleaseth me well.ªª°

And his father and his mother said to him, Are there no daughters of thy brethren, and [is there not] a woman of all my people, that thou goest to take a wife of the uncircumcised Philistines? And Samson{gr.Sampson} said to his father, Take her for me, for she [is] right in my eyes.
