And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, Jehovah give thee seed of this woman for the petition which was asked of Jehovah. And they went unto their own home.

And Eliª blessedª°¹ Elkanahª and his wife,ª and said,ª° The LORDª giveª° thee seedª of¹ this¹ womanª for¹ the loanª which¹ is lentª° to the LORD.ª And they wentª° unto their own home.ª

And Eli{gr.Heli} blessed Elkanah{gr.Helcana} and his wife, saying The Lord recompense to thee seed of this woman, in return for the loan which thou hast lent to the Lord: and the man returned to his place.

And `Ëlî עֵלִיª blessedª°¹ ´Elkänà אֶלקָנָהª and his wife,ª and said,ª° Yähwè יָהוֶהª giveª° thee seedª of¹ this¹ womanª for¹ the loanª which¹ is lentª° to Yähwè יָהוֶה.ª And they wentª° unto their own home.ª
