And he said unto him, Far from it; thou shalt not die: behold, my father doeth nothing either great or small, but that he discloseth it unto me; and why should my father hide this thing from me? it is not so.

And he saidª° unto him, God forbid;ª thou shalt not¹ die:ª° behold,¹ my fatherª will doª°°° nothingª¹ either greatª or¹ small,ª but that he will shewª°²¹ it¹ me:¹ and why¹ should my fatherª hideª°¹ this¹ thingª from¹ me? it¹ [is] not¹ [so].
